Honest response

Dallas has the only team that is built for smash mouth football. They are using the 90's teams as a model and in their case a RB has more value to the offense than it would have to a team that wants to run a fast paced , passing offense. Stats and comparisons are useless if you are not comparing apples to apples.

Honest response implies that we usually are not honest.
You have impugned our integrity.
th

Nice picture of you !!!!!

I understand where you are coming from. I see it differently and it has nothing to do with Zeke. If they want to build a smash mouth, physical offense , then a top RB helps them to complete the building process . DMac's stats looked good on paper, but he had no impact in games. None, zilch , nada. An impact RB is only insuring that they get the most out of the investment in the oline and Romo.

I think McFadden having such a small impact was more about our complete lack of ability to pass the ball. I was curious about adding Morris as well. I agree that Zeke looks to be a clear upgrade, but just don't know how much an upgrade like that matters in today's Pass heavy NFL. On the bright side, I figure we'll get a nice defensive player in the third round where I thought we'd take a RB.

At least we would have a defensive player

Like I have posited: No one defensive players would make a dent in our horrible defense. Better to build the offense and then go whole-boar with the defense in the middle rounds, the offseason (next year) and FA.
But I do respect your desire for a defensive pick. But we need like 8 blue chippers. And soon.

Well, it wasn't healing waters from Saturnia, lad!
We did hoist a few in my youth, but the padre made us pay for it with countless treatsies on St. Paul.
