I don't know how much more of Joe fondling himself to Jason Campbell I can take.

Hate the skins or not. Campbell played much better than I expected.

Campbell played well with the exception of the end so not sure what the problem is.

I think we need to understand that Campbell got props because his bar is extremely low. Romo had a 4 TD night and the announcers said nary a word about it. I like that, it means we have a Pro-Bowl QB and they have a pop warner QB who had a good game.

Troy is such an idiot. When the Skins make a good play he is talking about the good plays individuals make. When the Cowboys make a good play he is talking about the mistakes of the Skins D.

It was funny on the 4 TD's by TO he was not so talkative :lmao2:

Campbell played well but he always seems to come up short when the game is on the line.

Campbell took what our lame secondary gave him. Especially on the last TD drive. He didn't do much that was spectacular. Romo, on the other hand, avoided the rush and imporvised on several of the TD passes to TO. Let's see Campbell do that!!!!!!!!

A good QB takes what the defense gives him.

He played a good game no matter how much you hate the skins.

Just not as good as Tony played.

yea..

AIkman is a really annoying announcer, though.

I feel the same about him.

Annoucers suck and football will be better with out them

I use the mute button everytime they are announcing and I don't care what game they are doing... they are just God awful... imho

I generally dont get too worked up about announcing teams and approaches they take to portraying a game since probably 90 percent of it is some producer determining how things go BUT
I love Troy but he is definitely regressing in my mind
I mean did he actually say "take away the big plays by Dallas and this is a different game"!!!!!
Wow
This is the NFL--a win is a win is a win
I got the feeling that the announcing team was trying too hard to prop the Commanders and portray this as Dallas getting away lucky
Do you think Pittsburgh--the proclaimed 3rd best team in the NFL wouldnt like a 5 point win right about now?
Bottom line is this is a rivalry game and Troy should know as well as anyone that you throw the records out the window and strap it on
We got the Commanders best effort today and still won because most of the time talent wins in the NFL
note: see the Lions--who are playing very hard but lack of talent is catching up to them
Jason Campbell had a nice game--got into a rythm and showed a quick release
The NFC East will be strong for years because of the quality of QB's -leaving out the Eagles whose window has closed
I think Troy missed the point which was mentioned at half time by the sideline reporter that the Cowboys were going to adjust and attack the safeties--I did not hear much mention of that other than how the skins missed Taylor which is exactly why Garrett adjusted and exploited the match ups
I think Troy is just trying too hard to work the other team so he wont be labelled a Cowboys slappy

I know. It's like Troy doesn't like the Cowboys anymore or something.

You got that right

Campbell played extremely well, much better than what I expected. Having said that, Joe Buck always drives me nuts. He cannot hide his hate for the Cowboys. Last week he went on and on about how the Giants were stopping Witten. This week, it's all about Campbell. Like I said, Campbell deserves his props, but good god Joe...embrace the hate.

I couldn't believe that he actually said that Portis was his favorite player in the NFL....

Not to mention his swipe at us getting two home games in a row???????

yeah what was that all about?
leave the schedule making to the NFL Troy
and to have Portis as his favorite is pure sacriledge!
Moose was on the Giants broadcast and addressed the subject of playing Thanksgiving all his career and he said it was incredibly tough and that as he got older the recovery time on 4 days was just not there
Playing Thanksgiving has its disadvantages as well

:lmao:

That was surely Jerry Jones' doing . . . . Had his fingerprints all over it. :lmao2:

Wait and see,,,in his radio show this week, he will bend over backwards to compliment the Cowboys on winning when they looked flat and disinterested. He will fawn over them and say it shows how good Dallas really is,,that we will adjust and play better the next time, etc.

I do agree that he goes overboard trying to be neutral. But had we played better I am sure he would have said so during the game. It is almost like he hates poor play and punishes Dallas strongly when he sees. it.
