Houston Loss Doesn't Improve Cowboys Draft 2025 Draft Pick

This is what frustrates me. Why are the Panthers ranked 1 spot higher than the Cowboys when we have the same record? Yes, the Panthers have an easier schedule but the Cowboys have a much harder one. Shouldn't the team with a harder schedule be rewarded for playing much harder opponents?

I think they view it as Carolina having an easier schedule but still suck as bad as the Cowboys, so since their schedule was easier with the same amount of W/L, they need more help. There's still plenty of season left though.

1 Jacksonville 2-9 – Jags have a HC coach situation like Dallas. It’s not If, it’s When.

2 Tennessee 2-8 – Texans weren’t all that impressive. Can the Titans sneak one here?

3 Cleveland 2-8 – Root like crazy for Jameis to upset the Steelers.

4 NY Giants 2-8 – They are benching Daniel Jones to avoid an injury. DeVito is bad but he doesn’t seem to know that. Tampa Bay wins big.

5 Las Vegas 2-8 – Broncos seem to be on a roll. Raiders are more dysfunctional than Dallas and have the same level of “talent” on Offense.

6 New England 3-8 – They can beat the Dolphins, especially if they can rattle Tua.

7 NY Jets 3-8 – Aaron Rodgers cannot lose this week (Bye week).

8 Carolina 3-7 – They face the Chiefs who just suffered their first L of the year. Don’t see it.

9 Dallas 3-7 vs Giants – Washington and DQ are going to pour dirt on McCarthy’s grave.

Not worried about it as Coach/GM/Owner Jerry will find a way to screw up this draft like many others.
Figure he will choose the HB if he's there and more support for the offense cause he needs to prove to the world that he is NOT a fool giving his QB1 another massive deal.
He will once again fail as we've seen this movie before and know how it ends in the playoffs.....opps another interception....opps another fumble........opps another FG..........opps too many 3 and outs..........opps and more opps.

It's possible they could beat Washington the final week if Washington has nothing to play for. But I doubt that will be a meaningless game for them since they r behind the eagles now.

It's a marathon, not a sprint. Give it time. Each week winners will drop in draft position and the Cowboys will slowly move up. Yesterday I said they would finish at 7, but after last night's debacle, with even more injuries, I think they may finish in the top 5. They have a short week, then a short week after that. If Martin, and Tyler Smith miss any time, they are in a lot of trouble.
