Houston Texans vs Kansas City Chiefs thread

GOAT? LOL...where you been, it's the refs that make him great
He never heard of Dan Marino either. It’s funny, Joe Montana said Dan Marino is the best quarterback to ever play the game on some newscast this morning. It’s definitely breeding in my opinion. The second ring with the second team seal that for me.

I think Houston is going to win it all
next year.
With a solid draft....they could.

  • 1/25. Tyleik Williams DL Ohio State
  • 2/58. Jordan James RB Oregon
  • 3/89. Jonas Sanker SS Virginia
  • 4/126. Juice Wells Jr WR Ole Miss/S. Carolina
  • 5/164. Miles Frazier RG LSU (From Buff)
  • 7/241. Ahmed Hassanein RDE Boise St.

They have that feel of a team that is getting ready right?

Hey, Texans, you should have listened to Confucius!

Eh I don't know. People said that this year including people on here after they got Diggs. They seem to be behind the top 3 in the AFC right now but are heading the right direction. That division they play in helps.

I get the Texans outgained the Chiefs, but they also gave up 8 sacks. Even rarer to win when you give up 8 sacks, miss a field goal and an extra point and have another one blocked.

Maybe Fairbairn's time in Houston is up. Just saying.

Houston is still the only active team in the NFL never to appear in a conference championship game. They are now 0-6 in the divisional round. They have been in the league now 23 or 24 years. Garbage franchise as a whole.

Just stop you're making a fool of yourself I beg you.
Did you see the play, lol. He threw a 40 yard bomb up for grabs. He had to run halfway across the field to find the ball. And then they called the penalty. Lol.
and that’s not an opinion, that’s fact of what actually happened. Late in the fourth quarter.

They also never got that big time stop. When it was 13-3 and they took 2 drives in a row to make it 13-12, especially after that 10+ minute drive, that is a time for your defense to step up. But nope, they let KC drive it down for their own 7+ minute drive for a TD.

Remind me of the 90s Cowboys team one playoff, then two. then Super Bowl. Then repeat.

....hoping either Ravs or Bills knock them off. Dont want no 3peat unless its Dallas. ;)..
That’s what’s in the back of my mind. But it looks like they might be the first team to do it. Although I think the Lions could actually beat them out right

Where's the stat for how many 3rd down conversions and sacks Houston gave up?
That wasn’t why they lost. I think you needed to do a better job, but their receivers are out. They ran the ball really well time a possession.

Dan Marino did play in the SB
You are correct. 8-10 with a loss in SB XIX.

And I realize you were pointing out truth so the rest is not directed to you :)

For those who doubt Mahomes, especially when compared to Marino…

Marino
8-10 playoff record
1 Super Bowl (loss)

Mahomes
15-3 record
3 Super Bowl Wins (four appearances)

Also, after today;
8 consecutive AFC Championship games.

Anyone who doesn’t recognize his greatness is an idiot.
