It's too soon to tell on most of mine. I feel good about one in particular.

I just want you to know that I thought of you when I saw this:

He had a nice year last yr, but Felix Jones was on pace for a really good yr too before getting hurt.

This year, Chris Johnson has done very little save one game. The other 4 games he's been basically invisible to average. He scored all 3 of his tds and had almost all of his pass receptions on the season in one game (vs a bad Houston defense) and did nothing vs Pittsburgh or Indy, the two best teams he faced.

Once Felix stays healthy for awhile, this debate will end. Just like the "we should have taken Merriman over Ware!!!!" junk we had to put up with for a yr or two.

Chris Johnson is 2nd is rushing this year and has a crazy ypc average. He is also catching balls out of the backfield and not turning the ball over.

I may have misunderstood, but were you actually saying the dabeate will end in Felix' favor over CJ? I just saw a debate on ESPN on who is the best RB after AP, and CJ was mentioned an awful lot.

Sorry, but at this point I'd rather take Chris Johnson. Felix can't take a hit. I know Felix is a better talent but give me the little less talented guy(but still world class) for 16 games than the talented MR.Glass for 5 games a year.

Slate is the King of Hate..

I'll defend Slate here. IMO he isn't the king of hate. We have a couple of others that share that crown. Slate is down the pecking order a few spots but still higher than most.

Yeah, thats exactly what I am saying.

Again, almost all his numbers are from one game out of five.

Thats fine, we'll have this discussion later and see.

Both are good players.

But we selected Felix Jones because he was a specialty halfback and Kick returner.

Chris Johnson does not offer the special teams dimension.

I know Felix's injuries are frustrating, but we just need to be patient.

:laugh2: Why?

Because I preach? Is Felix not made of glass?

I am so glad that you are on this side of the debate, considering your track record. Felix is sure to go on to a HOF career. :D

If anything I'm a guru.

I liked Chung, I think he's only playing on Special teams for NE.

you know chuck is missing from your picture?

Well let's see, my 2nd mock draft was my favorite and it went:

2 (51) - Brian Robiskie

Cursed to no-man's land with the Browns. I still would love to have him on this team but he has no catches with the Browns. Not hard to do when they are completting 2 passes a game.

3 (69) - Kraig Urbik

Drafted by the Steelers, backup for now.

4 (97) - Keenan Lewis
ANOTHER player I wanted that got drafted by the Steelers, he's a backup. Has only been active one game.

4 (113) - Scott McKillop

Drafted by 49ers in the 5th Round, backup MLB. Won't be a starting anytime soon with Willis and Takeo Spikes starting there, and their D has been playing alright, but I suspect he'll start next to Willis at some point.

5 (148) - Louis Vasquez

Drafted by the Chargers, starting since day one, but ended up being taken in the 3rd round.

5(comp) - Mike Wallace
THIRD player I wanted that the steelers ended up stealing. He's their 3rd receiver now and has been off to a decent start with 250 yards a 1 TD.

6 (184) - John Parker Wilson

Went undrafted, signed by Falcons. Probably sucks.

6 (comp) - Everette Pedescleaux

Went undrafted, signed by Denver Broncos.

7 (193) - Josh Mauga
Went undrafted, signed by Jets then went on IR.

7 (210) - Andy Kemp

Went undrafted, signed by Vikings then cut, not really sure where he is now.

I guess I am mistaking you for some other guy who claimed that the Cowboys secondary would be the best in the league this season.

Excuse me for thinking Ken Hamlin would be legit. It was wishful thinking more than anything. Mostly optimism and homerism.

Yeah seriously, what were you thinking?

I wanted a Center Max Unger and Eric Wood or Alex Mack.

Sean Smith was a high consideration for need and IMhumbleO so was OT William Beatty whom I was most fond of outside of the Center position.

LB Marcus Freeman, WR Kenny Britt, OLB Larry English and LB James Laurenitias all peaked interest occasionally during the process and English was my Official Pet Cat for awhile.

Was afraid of the slow footed OT Phill Loadholt, plus the two Roid user LBs and was not a fan of taking a 3/4 NT early.

Still would have taken Oline....not sexy but it was a very talented draft up front.
