I invented a game called "Game Thread Bingo".

You make a card up of 4 x 4 squares. In each square you enter a negative phrase like, "Fire Garrett!" and "we are going to lose", and "Cut _____" , etc.

Then you simply wait until that phrase is posted during the game and "X" it out on your card. First to get a row, column or diagonal wins (honor system).

I don't ever remember the game lasting longer than the first quarter under any circumstances including a 21-0 lead.

This should tell you a little about the meltdown potential.

It's kind of a defensive mechanism. This way, we shield ourselves from extreme disappointment if they get dominated and anything good is turned into a mini miracle.

I know I say some extraordinary things...,but I don't post them.

True but it is not the same. I really dislike the Joneses. We were once such a proud franchise. Now it is a bit of a carnival.

BTW UCLA v Oklahoma on Fox. The announcers continue to slobber over Chip Kelly. You would think that guy invented the game. What the heck is that?

i recently came over from the old Cowboys message board during the offseason. So I am a rookie for the game threads.

Just wondering how bad this board melts down when it ain’t going our way. I will give fair warning that my posts are very critical and sometimes “slightly” negative during the game. It’s like I expect them to be perfect or something. Lol. I usually come back to reality after the game, unless we lose and then I snap blame people for the loss for a few days. If it’s close and we win I kool out.

But the Dez catch - non catch I melted down for a month. A lot of us from the old boards did. I still do. And the last game with Byron admiring rodgers instead of covering his guy RIGHT BEHIND HIM.

Any ways was just wondering. And want to appologize in advance for myself and some of my brothers from the old boards. I do however stay within the rules of the board.

No I’m not kidding, the key to the season will be our games @ Car, @ Sea, @ Atl because those are the teams we will be competing with for a wild card. We aren’t beating Atlanta in Atlanta or Sea in Seattle so our hope is @ Car. If we lose it’s over.

Everybody thinks I'm one of the cooler heads on here.

That's because I vent in front of the TV during the game. By the time I check into Cowboys Zone it's out of my system and I can portray the even-keeled; one-game-does-not-a-season-make kind of fan.

But believe me- I still burn up inside whenever I think about all those close Packer losses since 2014; regular and postseason. For that matter, I still get mad when I think about Romo's bobbled field goal snap in Seattle in the 2006 playoffs.
