How bad is the Running game

The biggest problem is that the run game scares nobody

play action is more difficult to pull off and makes the offense more predictable

I doubt cook is the answer but can’t be any worse at this point.

Yup....We need some speed back there....Someone that can break a tackle or 2.....make some people miss. This plowing for 2 yards into contact....isn't going to work all season.

4 games no Dalvin Cook . Anyway I’ve been calling for Dowdle to get 15 rushing attempts tonight they came close he had 11 . Avg 4.2 yards . Didn’t look too bad on TD catch & run . He’s the lone legit threat out of the backfield sprinkled in with an occasional Leupke play .
Address this position in 2025

The running game is pathetic. I guess I blame it mostly on the scheme.

Other teams make holes for runners.

Other teams have runners that can get separation, and QB's who can deliver the ball in that second of separation for YAC.

I hate the style of throwing to a receiver that is dead stopped. That rarely give any YAC.
I do not enjoy it at all.

Jerry, you are serving up a pile of steaming junk plays.

I simply can't believe we entered the season with this plan at RB. It's mind boggling. This hugely important component of running a productive offense and putting your 60m QB in position to succeed just left to rot and die with nothing done to improve the personnel, coaching, or scheme. This team is absolutely cooked if we don't a) get a RB who can pick up more than 3 yds a carry b) improve the run blocking (Solari won't be fired mid-season, so doubt it on that one) or scheme.

Why would you ever load the box against the Cowboys? Put all your db's on the field and play coverage cause we're gonna get 4 yds, tops.

Scheme??? Just stop. The talent at RB sucks. 15 was washed up 3 years ago. Deuce is too small and slow. Doowdle is a fringe roster guy on every other team. This old drunk has a demonstrated history of drastically overestimating the talent on the roster he builds. Everyone knew RB was a problem.

You act like you are surprised. They did not sign a FA nor did they draft a RB. Dowdle on most teams would be a third-choice RB.

Giants have the Top NT/ 1tech???

Maybe now Jones boys can see effect

Mazi played decent
We held them to 1.1 yds per carry

If Dallas is 30th in the league in rushing the Giants have to be below that after last night . You go from Barkley to what was on display last night . Ouch .

Doodle is actually perfectly fine as a rotation guy.

Zeke really should be in Deuce’s spot in the depth chart serving as nothing more than a short yardage/ pass blocking specialist.

Vaughn is a poorly performing gadget guy.

We desperately need some speed at the position; someone that can flip the field.
