Watch each play.how?
Watch each play.how?
29 yards in the first half. longest run was by a WR...10 yards...so 19 yards by the RB group!!! in the first half...not just a single run or on 3....Watch each play.
The weren't pathetic when you actually watch them run and catch the ball. See Rico and Luepke. They certainly were OK if you watch them.29 yards in the first half. longest run was by a WR...10 yards...so 19 yards by the RB group!!! in the first half...not just a single run or on 3....
24 yards in the 3rd quarter....that's total of 51 yards through end of 3 quarters...
that's pathetic.
that's the 29th worst run defense....they are as bad as us in run defense and we couldn't run on them......and had to go to the passing game.
our running game didn't improve. we just played against a pathetic run defense....that's why you think it improved.
It's a RB issue too for sure. This isn't a RB issue, it's an OL issue. That isn't gonna get fixed this year, or probably ever the way Jerral works.
The were able to run the ball and have the Giants use all of their timeouts.I mentioned it last night, when Martin went out for a few plays, we ran the ball better. It happened last year as well.
Whistling past graveyards and trying to gaslight everyone are your specialties. It's not as bad as it seems.
Keep watching. It's a RB issue too for sure.

Luepke is the only guy in our RB room that even belongs there. You could replace everyone else with just one young RB.Doodle is actually perfectly fine as a rotation guy.
Zeke really should be in Deuce’s spot in the depth chart serving as nothing more than a short yardage/ pass blocking specialist.
Vaughn is a poorly performing gadget guy.
We desperately need some speed at the position; someone that can flip the field.
Keep watching. Are you mad that they were able to run the ball and run out the clock?Luepke is the only guy in our RB room that even belongs there. You could replace everyone else with just one young RB.
Dowdle had 4.2 yards per carry. We had the ball 24 minutes compared to 35 for the Giants -- that is your difference in running yards. It's a RB issue too for sure.
He also scored on a 20 yard screen.Dowdle had 4.2 yards per carry. We had the ball 24 minutes compared to 35 for the Giants -- that is your difference in running yards.
They were productive last night. They need to cut down on the holding calls.I don't care who's in the backfield, with this o-line, playbook and McCarthy playcalling, the running game was never going to be all that productive. This season was always going to be a referendum on Dak's arm and McCarthy's passing plays.
Give up on balance, ya'll, the bottom line is that this team's best chance to win games is to pass the ball....pass to set up the run. If the pass ain't working, they have no chance anyway. The Cowboys come out every game trying to establish the running game, often resulting in a 3-and-out, and since they don't have a solid dee, the Cowboys fall behind after the defense gives up opening drive points for the opponent.
They should come out throwing the ball all over the place, until they get a 2-score lead, and THEN run the ball. They can sprinkle it in, but the passing game must take flight first. McCarthy's just awful. Play to your strengths.
they were OK? against 29th ranked run defense...fantastic....lets start a parade. The weren't pathetic when you actually watch them run and catch the ball. See Rico and Luepke. They certainly were OK if you watch them.
It is better than the previous games, progress!!! LOLWe had 80 yards...averaging 3.5 a carry.....
We suck....
