Um they scored 7 and the offense scored 14.
Who scored the 30 for San Diego?
The difference today was there was almost no pass rush. A QB as good as Rivers is going to look great when he gets all day to throw. The coverage was bad, too, but the best friend of a secondary is a quarterback under duress.
I'll have the "Sean Lee chasing a 300lb Antonio Gates" image burned into my brain forever.
In general, I thought Sean Lee and Bruce Carter would have been better in pass coverage than they have so far.
Ordinarily, I'd prefer the line backers not be running down field alone with anyone. This scheme, SMH. When it works it works, but when it doesn't, yuck!!In general, I thought Sean Lee and Bruce Carter would have been better in pass coverage than they have so far.
They've been horrible quite frankly. I don't know if it's because they're paying too much attention to the run or what (they did that in the Giant game) but something has to change.
Seemed to me Rivers was letting the ball go quickly, exposing our soft zone defense
