How bad was Fox's coverage of the game?

They were awful. Nothing short of awful.

It isn't a matter of needing something repeated - but there were TWO times that a penalty was called and the broadcast did the following:

1) Moose wouldn't shutup while the ref talked
2) The camera wasn't on the ref so that we could see the signal
3) They didn't a. acknowledge the penalty or b. tell us what it is. We just lost 10 yards out of nowhere. I assume it was holding, but I have no idea.

On top of that, they didn't give replays when needed, and just talked on and on about nothing sometimes, while giving 30-40 seconds of dead air at others.

This was a boring game without any sort of crowd noise or excitement, but it was made worse by one of the worst broadcasts I have ever seen.

On another note, you may not ever need to pull a air carrier, but at least you could stop it.:eyeroll:

I will say that while I mainly listened to the radio broadcast, I did have my radio off for a while in the 2nd Quarter. On the FOX audio, there was this loud and obnoxious woman just screaming and yelling. She must have been near one of the field mics, and her voice was drowning out the announcers. Sounded like she had a few too many, if you get my drift. I could hear them try and mute that mic when she would start screaming. I can't believe no one has mentioned hearing her.

There was a fun part where Moose and Goose were both crapping on Ted Ginn Jr. They were talking about he was fast for college but this is the NFL, etc

I didn't have a problem with the coverage yesterday either, and to the poster who said it wasn't in HD - it was in East Texas, so maybe it was a problem with your local station.

This sequence at the end of the 1st quarter should tell you all about how bad this broadcast was,

They went to a commercial break at the end of the first quarter, when they came back from the break it was still the 1st quarter, Miami had called a TO with 7 seconds left to make Folk kick from the infield dirt, after the FG they went to a second commercial break, they came back for the Kickoff with 4 seconds left, after the fair catch and no time taken off the clock they went to a 3th break, they came back, the Dolphins ran one play and the quarter ended, another break.

They had four commercial breaks in seven seconds of playing time.

Ted Ginn Jr is scared to death, that guy was looking for a soft place to get tackled.
