How come we aren’t talking about Wentz anymore?

Sorry i thought football was a team game I wasnt aware that qbs were the only players resposible for winning or losing games
Stop being obtuse. Foles with the same team has eagles scoring almost 10 more PPG.

Foles makes the eagles offense far more dangerous. I don’t think cowboys win against them with Foles.

LOL so Foles wasn’t great in 2/4 games... but he was only good in 1/4 games? Does that make sense to you?

That’s terrific about Wentz. Too bad his amazing stats have translated to losing seasons in 2/3 years.

Probably because 1) Philly was the very worst 1st quarter scoring team in the NFL under Wentz, and 2) Wentz is as clutch as Scott Norwood from 41 yards out.

(Speaking of kickers, did I mention that 1 of Wentz’s 3 game-winning drives was thanks to a 61-yard FG?)
Did you also mention that almost all his game winning drives are against the Giants and nobody else

And when Foles starts laying duds again like he has always done his entire career, what will your excuse be then?

My god. In five years, no one is going to give a crap about Wentz or Prescott or whatever teams they are playing backup QB on....
Dak won't be a backup. He will be the starter for America's Team for the next 10 years and I will love it. Finally got a QB that just wins games, Dak only knows winning seasons since entering the league and doesn't use the excuse of no help like the Wentz lovers use.

I’ll be happy. I’m a cowboys fan. I’m just objective. Wentz is a step or 2 below Foles.

Foles is:

Bigger
Stronger
Better Arm
More Accurate
Definition of Clutch
Apparently “more liked”

Wentz is:
Much more mobile

And yet pastor foles still cannot seize or hold on to a starting job the entire time hes been in the league. I dont know how great wentz really is but im pretty sure foles isnt better. Just like ryan fitzpatrick, the bottom will fall out. It always does

Wentz is an amazing talent. He did pretty well for his first year back after a horrible injury, and he is fun to watch.

The Eagles players like Wince, but they love Foles. It's all fun and games until his teammates are building shrines and lighting candles for Foles in the locker room. Not even Romo got disrespected like that, there wasn't any Dak Shrines in the locker room.

There used to be a few weekly threads on Carson Wentz, and now... nothing. What gives?

Oh, right. Because his 5-6 record (2nd losing season in 3 years) that the Wentz crowd tried blaming on his supporting cast looks like complete garbage compared to what NICK FOLES is doing. LOL!

Foles, the Super Bowl MVP, is 3-1 this season and just beat the Rams and Texans. With the same team that Wentz couldn’t crack .500 with.

Wentz isn’t clutch and his stats don’t translate to many wins. Philly was the absolute WORST scoring team in the 1st quarter this season... now add the fact that Wentz is hilariously un-clutch with the game on the line (3 for 11 on game-winning drives??) and there’s your 5-6 record.

Foles has completely exposed Wentz and I LOVE IT. What happened to the CowboysZone Wentz Wagon???
:lmao2:

The Eagles (hopefully) will be stupid enough to let Foles walk and keep Wentz. We all saw Foles first stint away from the Eagles. He's a system QB and will not do well away from Philly...

Foles knows this as well. If the Eagles don't offer him a contract, I bet he'll retire. He was already retired before the Eagles call him up.

Wentz plays a position that teams can ill afford to have one as brittle as he is......which doesn't exude a long career.....he hasn't played a full season yet.......they should keep Foles, but teams can't afford to pay starter money to two QB's.

Wentz is so good, he’s a backup in year three on his own team. And/or Pederson’s such a bad coach he let his team get swept by a rival and miss the inside track at the playoffs by keeping his best QB on the bench.

You can’t have it both ways.

Does this mean, though, if we had a Nick Foles to replace Dak with that we'd also see a similar spike?

That's the question for me. I don't care anything about Wentz because he doesn't play for my team. I just care about what it takes to make my team better.

BTW, this doesn't necessarily mean I want Foles as the starting QB of this team. I think he's a streaky player. However, I am definitely open to the idea of seeing if another QB can increase the productivity of this offense. Maybe one can't and the problems are more about the play-calling and the offensive line. I just think it's ignorant not to consider the possibility.
I don’t honk Foles is streaky, he took them to a super bowl last year; took over this year and now they’re winning. I’d take a chance on him over Dak any day of the week, problem is he would come here and languish under Garrett and Linehan and we’d csll him a bum.
