But, while Troy was winning rings, Garrett and Wade Wilson were on the sidelines talking about how much more dynamic our offense could be if they opened up the passing game and got aggressive. Took off the training wheels. (And I'll bet you anything that when Martz blew up with his attacking version of that timing-based system, they thought that was confirmation that they'd been right all along and that they knew better than Turner or Ernie Zampese and all the conservative running playcalls.)

Those two guys have been on our coaching staff, a part of our cutesy, any-excuse-to-call-a-pass offense for a long time now. Meanwhile's Troy's rings are sitting in a nice display case, probably. His stats could've been a lot gaudier if the playcalling had been more pass-happy and cutesy, but I think Troy's happy to have traded stats for results.

Personally friend, other than you running a warped casing-liner in many things concerning ' cowboys fandom' I've gotten close to the toleration level of acceptance on your aspects/input,,,obviously a character defect on my part ,,,but we'll keep it between ourselves

Aikman was one of the best QBs to play the game with one of the best supporting casts of all time and a damn good coach to boot. Then Jerry ran off Jimmy and signed Deion and we only won one Super Bowl after that and only like three subsequent playoff games or something perverse.

I always thought those NFC championships vs the 49ers were better games than the super bowls.
