HogsRLegends;1739353 said:How did Tony Romo go from being a nobody, a boy who couldn't even start for a Division I-A program to a Pro Bowl QB who beat out Drew Bledsoe (a number 1 draft pick with much more pedigree) for the starting QB position for the Dallas Cowboys. More importantly, how has he been able to surpass Jason Campbell, who was much more highly touted coming out of college?
What did he do?
1. The '03 QB class was strong-if it wasn't as strong, he would have been a 1st day pick with no problem.
2. He's VERY tough-witness the Seattle game-QBs would NEVER recover from that, but he appeared to have amnesia when it came to that.
3. We can also thank Sean Payton-he also as Eastern Illinois ties, which helped him spot Romo.
