How Did Tony Romo Go Undrafted?

Interesting list, many worse than Romo for sure. Thanks.
Your welcome.

The All-Star games can change that sometimes. Everyone knew McNair was a talent.
Enlightening.

We considered drafting him, but didn't. At least 20 teams wanted him as an UFA. We weren't the only ones aware of him.
Already pointed out.

All very good points.
What is so wrong with making one post instead of so many posts?

I was just catching up this morning & responding to some posts I found of interest, like your own. I don't see the problem.
Roughly 90% of the time you two guys respond in your own threads only and avoid almost all other discussions on this forum. He responds in yours. You respond in his. You also revive them from the dead. I have pointed this out before. This isn't the first time.

The impression made on others is that only what the two of you have to say matters. I'm not saying it is a problem per se. I am telling you this is a symptom of why the two of you catch so much grief.

There are websites all over the Net that define trouble makers on forums. You've heard the word "troll" before and you guys have been called that here by more than one poster. Just about any one of those websites you choose to look up troll activity will describe this practice.

Everyone will revive a thread now and then to answer something. You guys do it every single time to each and every thread for days at a time until finally a Mod who is tired of the pissing match will close the thread. As soon as one thread is closed another opens with a new thought, or a re-worded old thought, and the process starts all over again. Anything to keep it alive and at the top of the page.

People are noticing and giving negative feedback more and more. I can almost guarantee I will be pointing this out again at some time. It's a self fulfilling prophecy.

I respond to countless other threads than just Prophet's. I post here far more than he ever does. Check, you'll see that's true. I come in, check the board, and often respond to old posts, sure--isn't that the nature of the beast? It's not a silly attempt to "revive" the thread in some nefarious way. I enjoy this board & putting my two cents in. I've also cut back on starting threads as you suggested and simply commenting on those existing. Still don't see what's wrong with that, I see it by others too. Close the thread if you wish, it's not worth all this in my opinion.

Hence why I said 90% of the time.

Go back just 2 days and look at your own post history. Click on your username and when the menu drops down choose "find more posts by." You will find that you do the following.

1. Respond in a thread started by you or The Prophet.

2. Respond in a thread by someone else to reiterate an idea in a thread you've already started. For example, you started the Kyle Boller thread. I guarantee to you, without even looking that in at least one other thread about a potential backup QB other than Kyle Boller, that you have brought up Kyle Boller. It's your idea so you've got to throw it out there over and over then go back to the actual thread and find a post to respond to and bump it back to life.

He does the exact same thing.

I'm not going to close the thread unless it turns into another pissing match. I'm trying to be friendly and explain why you guys get such negative feedback. Maybe you enjoy it. I suspect you do. I've seen all this before.

Could the problem possibly be with others on this board besides me? I feel I'm being singled out.

Don't know if you are or aren't, but I think any further dialogue should be taken to PM between you and Hos.

You started a football thread, let's try to keep it that way.

Man back in the day I know it had to be nerve racking to wait all those rounds to see if you could get a shot in the NFL....

Back then I doubt players waited around. They would go do what they wanted and wait for a call from their agent.

Yeah you're probably right, but you know they had it in the back of their minds...

I've never had any problem with Hostile. He's a stand up guy.
