How did we lose to SFO?

How did we lose to SFO? They have looked pathetic these last two weeks. I know they're without Deebo Samuel, but did his presence and the lack of Diggs make that much of a difference? They've gone from beating us to losing to the Browns (who have an excellent defence) and the Vikings.

They were also missing Trent Williams who’s the best tackle in the league. Also, We played them on their home field at full strength.

Herbert is a mess, but I forgive him due to the existence of the worst OL and HC in the history of the NFL. I will say this much about Allen. For as much hype as this guy gets, he doesn't get anywhree near the criticism that Dak does. Dak has never been put on the pedastal Allen was put on when drafted, yet here we are. Take it a step further, are we really sure both Herbert and Allen are better than Dak?

Answer this if you're not sure...salary caps don't matter and you get a call from either the Chargers or Bills wanting to trade straight up for Dak. Do you:

A.) Nod quietly and say "yeah, we will miss Dak, he's a nice guy, we think you'll like him."

B.) Suppress a scream of elation, choke down a laugh, clear your throat and say, "yes, I do believe this sounds fair, let's move forward."

C.) Run around the room giving high fives and doing your best Ric Flair impersonation "WOOOOOOOOO!!!"

He was. I know he makes a difference, but that's a huge difference it seems.

I’ve been saying, he wants to be the hero, he could set up other players to have a great game, but he wants to be in the sunshine

You can’t, you have to be great on both sides of the ball and we don’t have a running game, so our defense is going to get tired. Plus we are small.

Exactly, and the team needs to have a hard look in the mirror now and say, are we really worse than the Browns and Vikings?

You just can’t look at it this way. The Cowboys destroyed the Giants, then the Giants beat the Cardinals, then the Cardinals beat the Cowboys. The Cowboys destroyed the Patriots then the Patriots beat the Bills. Does that mean we would destroy the Bills? Not necessarily. Some teams just stack up better against other teams on a particular week.

SF was playing well until the CMC fumble, which seemingly changed the momentum of the game as it followed a Niners were driving following a SF interception. Purdy wasn’t sharp and their secondary got torched as Cousins had a great game…he made some big throws.
I still think SF is the best team in the NFC despite these losses. They are the best coached with a great scheme possessing multiple playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Our defense played bad and it was compounded by our offense playing almost as bad. Vikings don't have half the pass rush we got and was able to get pressure. We also need to attack the 49ers with Ceedee Lamb/Cooks/Tolbert and Fergie..and not Gallup

Huh? Vikings have one of the best offensive lines in the league, they have like a top 2 tackle duo in the league and a solid interior.

Yep it’s relevant. Dak being his usual big game choker self is relevant but the TOs also happened because SF was running away with the game. The vikes held them to 7 at the half and caused 2 ints and a fumble. That defense completely stifled them because they played team defense to win the game not hero ball to get stats to be paid. Big difference
