Washington on the road? Lol.

anywhere from 10-13 wins. 10 should be easy.
You do remember how good that DL is and got better. They got better at WR and QB (Wentz is better than Heineke). If the defense plays like it did in 2020 they’re a threat at home. Even the best Dallas teams have struggled there during the last 10 years.

Cowboys defense is off the chain. That team is just a train wreck. Wentz is a punk. And he doesn’t have the best running game in the nfl this year.

who is the other WR they got?

So its hopeless eh? All those guys we got in the last 2 drafts:

Gallimore, Diggs, Parsons, Osa, Joseph, Cox, Ball, Wright, Biadasz, Bohanna? Do any of those guys have a chance to be better this year?

Dak, Zeke, might they have a better year not injured?

What did we lose to the niners by? Less than a TD?

It is a good theory. But since when has Dallas improved year after year?
Something always seems to happen. They will have to prove they can do it first.

You don’t think those young players will improve?

Dotson. The Penn St slot in the 1st. Gives them at least another guy outside McClaurin to compete with. Theyre not better than Dallas by any means but they have enough to hang around and steal a game with that defense

that kinda what we heard last year. I’m not too worried about them.

We'll kick Washington upside down in 2022, twice. And that's about the expectation for 2022.

Thanks for asking...

Even with the promise of all this new incoming talent, I still say Dak will let us down ... when it counts the most...

NO smith isnt a project. At LT possibly, but he will get right in at guard and be a big improvement. Especially in the run game. But I understand thats what the gloomers will say.

Williams will be a welcome find off the edge. 6-8 sacks would be a great rookie season.

Tolbert 20-30 catches would be nice. If there is a relapse in Gallup, he probably gets a lot more and thats a great fallback option.

Then of course you have the players from the last 3 drafts that should show improvement.

The 4th round TE will help us get back to more 12 personnel we like to use so much.

Cowboys did a great job of filling holes and a solid draft all around.
sorry, I don't totallya gree on smith. he maybe talented, has nasty demeanor, but he is raw, his technique needs work and he had 16 penalties IN COLLEGE last year in 12 games playing against inferior competition. we complained about Williams, me included and now we get a guy who is potentially more penalty prone....he is a project since his technique work will take a couple of year at least.

I don't dislike Williams, but he is a rookie second rounder, with some predicting he is a third rounder..... its DE in the NFL. Parsons was special. top 12 pick, Williams is not special and he will share time, not sure how well he will do. it takes DE a couple of years to adjust. I doubt if lightning strike twice two years in a row.

I think if tolbert gets 20-30 catches it would be nice, but probably because he is 4th or 5th option and he will benefit from that. he is not going to take pressure off of CD and Gallup anytime soon. so no immediate help.

I think the 4th rd TE is a blocking TE, so as you said he may help in the run game.

I am not as impressed. they have potential, but not immediate dividends.

Well.........Ok.................a project to me is our 5th round OT. Moving to guard I think Smith starts from day one and is an improvement. Working on his pass protection technique he definitely needs. But I am not worried about him starting day 1. Now will he be better the 2nd half of the year then the first? Definitely.

Yah, the immediate dividends thing is not as big a deal to me. I think some of these guys help this year. I see no Parsons for sure. But then the 2nd and 3rd year guys should be taking steps forward. Look at Diggs from year 1 to 2.

This was a solid draft. Nothing flashy or sexy, but solid and filled lots of needs.

a project for an OL is someone you have to train basic techniques, someone raw....a QB is often a project, that's understood. but this guy is apparantley a penalty machine. plug him in. you get williams all over again and we all complained about williams.

At guard he wont be out on an island against fast guys. It wont be as difficult for him.

Hes a project at LT, but a plug and play guard. Does have to work on technique. If we are arguing about what project means, lets just move on.

Got our mauling guard, pass rushing DE, and Smooth, fast receiver in the 3rd.

Werent those all the positions most were complaining about?

Just trying to check the pulse here.
They had a good, needs based draft. We both agree wanted Travis Jones, but I am happy they landed Ridgeway later on. I think we have the talent to win, but we need to be patient as some of these rookies and 2nd yr players need further development.

I dont think we have a true contender yet. But its not like there are all these great teams that cant be beaten.

I was feeling pretty doom and gloom after that play off loss . . . but I feel better after the draft.
