I have to say I am thankful they didn't do that. The teams that waited until the 2nd round look much smarter today. Heck even the Cowboys look smarter nabbing a good one in the 3rd.

This has been a perfect draft for those that would rather fill needs than take the best player. You got what you wanted.

I believe the value at BPA was as close as need based, Im good with that if good talent fits the need.
This team drafted in the 24 slot, and have drafted well considering the draft stock and capital available.

Lol. Mauling guard (most penalized player in college football) , Sam Williams (typical boom or bust character issues second round cowboy selection) and a good WR. He’s the only pick I’m not mad about. Like you say below. You build from the trenches out. I would have preferred Jermaine Johnson, Travis Jones (this team has done nothing to get better against the run) and Tolbert with Salyer in the 4th. That covers all positions but hey what do I know

Not at all. I’m just pointing out the truth. Do you trust this coaching staff to coach up Smith? Sorry after sitting out free agency I don’t think a project and putting faith in Philbin to fix his penalty issues is a great strategy. That’s all I said.

Well yeah of course. Let’s see. I just wish they built the defense up more. Doesn’t matter about the OL if the defense is giving up 100 plus on the ground a game. The offense won’t see the field lol. Parsons can’t do everything.

He's pretty much coming to one of the most undisciplined and penalized teams in the league, so I can't say I trust the coaching to coach the penalties out of him. Maybe he'd work in New England under Bellichick, but the best players on our team seem to be the ones that come ready out of the oven.
