How do we beat the Bengals?

If they are going to have any chance of winning this game they will have to keep the Bengals from scoring. That means they cannot allow them to drive the length of the field every time they get the ball then celebrate the fact that the Bengals only got a FG. 4 FGs again in the first half and the Cowboys will probably lose.

It would help if the stopped committing so many penalties, but that's like asking a lion not to eat meat.

I have no idea who or how they will cover Chase but I expect him to have a big day.

The Bengals are not happy about the way they played last week and how they lost. I am sure they will be fired up so the Cowboys need to match intensity with intensity.
A game of FGs favors the Cowboys. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Maher is an advantage vs. the Cincy kicker.

If the Bengals show up gassed from last week and flat, we might have a chance. If they show up to play, it's a boat race, and there's really nothing we can do.

Power running. If Moore don’t run the ball at least 30 times this week he needs to be called out. You have Elliot getting 5.2 a carry. And he gets 10 attempts..

Our D only conceded one TD against Brady. That's rare. So there's hope. We can keep it a low scoring game, which allows us to concentrate on running the ball.
Cooper played pretty good in that Viking game last year when no one thought we had a chance.

The Steelers are a drastically better defense than the Cowboys with a different set of personnel. Meanwhile with Rush playing on the offensive side teams are going to dare you to throw it whereas Tampa was daring you to run it. Everything is different so none of these comparisons work.

That is drastically untrue.

One thing about Rush, he will throw it down the field. What does he have to lose? Leave the crappy trick plays in the play book and play football.

They will go after Brown, so Quinn might want to give him a bit of help. Brown don't be a hero.

How so? Secondary. They are boasting a top class NFL secondary. Front 7. They are great even without TJ Watt (who they had for most of the game) they still are a far more complete unit. What level of defense do you think the Cowboys compare to the Steelers favorably?

Dallas was the higher ranked defense last year. I don't know where you are getting your information. Maybe you are waxing nostalgic. They have played one game so far and it is too early to tell this year.

Rush is going to need time in the pocket. If he's hurried it's going to get ugly.

Oh yeah, run the ball and keep rush out of 3rd and long.

No I just took note of the fact that they had numerous injuries while the Cowboys remained healthy on defense and considering that the Bengals played the healthy version that is who I am comparing the Cowboys to.

Please break that down for me. Not being funny. I just don't understand.
