Manning is not putting up those rediculous numbers this year but he's running an offense that is extremely efficiant. Production wise, it's right there with NE. It's way more balanced as well which, IMO, makes them a better offense. They are producing against much better compation as well. Defensively, they are much better then NE IMO.
You look at who they have played in comparison to NE and I think it's clear.
NE: Combined 17 and 28 records against compatition.
NYJ 1-6
SD 3-3
Buf. 2-4
Cin. 2-4
Cle. 3-3
Dal. 6-1
Mia. 0-7
Colts: Combined 20 and 18 records against compatition.
NO 2-4
Tenn. 4-2
Hou. 3-4
Den. 3-3
TB 4-3
Jac. 4-2
This is with one extra game played by NE. I just think that the Colts are the best team in the NFL right now but hey, the Pats get the ink so that's fine. I'll be interested to see what happens when the two of these teams meet in Nov.

On the other hand I'd like to see NE get taken down by someone-- and it would kinda please me if it were an NFC East team. I mean I get sick of hearing how superior the AFC is... even though it's true.
I admit it's getting very easy to hate New England at a level normally reserved for the Cowboy's fellow teams in the NFC East.
Go Pats?
Go Skins?

The Patriots are playing a team that actually runs the ball, and the Patriots defense is not great. The Commanders are going to have a portion of the TOP, so this game is not going to be a blow-out. Joe Gibbs is not going to get into a passing shoot-out with the Patriots. He will run and run and run and run.
If the Commanders can establish a consistent run attack, the Commanders have a couple of deep threats that can get a big play or two. Again, the Patriots secondary is suspect.
The Skins also have a pretty good defense, and their safeties lay the wood on people. Greg Williams is pretty smart, so I won't get past him having an effective game-plan, and their defensive line can generate a pass rush. They are gonna drop a lot of people into coverage like they did against detroit and were pretty successful in stopping the Lions receiving corps.
The point is... The Commanders are not push-overs this year, and their team is pretty much dependent on Jason Campbell. If Jason Campbell can protect the ball, and they can establish an efefctive run game, it is going to be pretty close. And the Commanders have to prevent NE from starting off quick, which is their thing.

ABQCOWBOY;1726133 said:I kinda don't agree with this. We were beaten in the first quarter IMO. I mean, I know we took the lead in the third and all but our defense was on the field way too long in that first half. We were beaten and didn't know it after that first half, IMO. We were gassed by the middle of the third quarter. If the Skinz can prevent from getting down big in that first quarter, then they have a chance. The way to defeat a good ball control running team is to put them down early. Then, they can't run the ball. If they can run it for 4 quarters, I think the Skinz can beat the Pats. They are exactly the kind of team that can use a game plan like that. They have to play a mistake free game. No TOs, very few penalties, no mistakes in the special teams but if they can do that, I think they can beat NE. I think any team that can do this has a much better then average chance of beating NE. I fully believe that the NE defense will fold if they have to play 4 tough quarters. JMO.

If they keep the Pats D on the field they might stand a chance. The problem is can they stop Brady. He doesn't need much time to score. A fresh Pats Offense could be very scary.
