How do we fix the offense?

Dak has a high win rate when the Cowboys rush for over 100 and hold the opponent to less than 100 yards rushing.

The new run blocking scheme/coaching is critical.
- Pray that the new OL coach, RB coach and Offensive Coordinator(s) get that worked out.

Draft a future All-Pro at TE or OL or WR or RB. Position is less important than quality of the new player.
- i.e. Think about the impact Parsons and Tyler Smith had as rookies.

Current Roster:
OL: If Steele is ready by game 1, the starters are set. Tyron will start!
WR: They replaced Noah Brown with Brandin Cooks. Gallup should be 100% healthy. Starters are set.
RB: Pollard is good. The #2 or combination of #2/#3 RBs much be significant contributors.
TE: The least experienced position group on the team. Another 4th rounder is not going to be an upgrade from Ferguson.
I’m really intrigued by adding Dalton Kincaid, he is not like the TE’s the Cowboys would normally target, but potentially be that mismatch TE we have been lacking since Witten’s prime. Yes, more of an oversized receiver, not much of a blocker, but they have that already with Ferguson.

Have to fix their rushing attack, scheme/personnel. Think adding more depth is important for the OL, especially with Tyron’s durability. Find a legitimate, starting caliber type of back and perhaps add the use of a full back

Biggest immediate impact fir this roster is at TE and Guard. We could also make a agruement for DT and LB

Improve the OL (grab an immediate starter at LG). Add more playmakers no matter the position (WR, RB or TE). I am ok if WR, RB and TE are addressed after the first 2 rounds.

The team has to hope Tolbert makes a big leap this season too.
Yep….guard in the first then te,rb, wr

Kincaid is the far better receiver, but I do like Mayer as well, he is more well rounded
far Better? Not a chance. Kincaid catches the ball and gets tackled. Mayer makes big plays and yac.

Tbh Roy, I want a DT before any other offensive position other than LG. The trenches being solidified is a must for me.
I would love a DT. Just don’t think they will do it. I’ve almost given up. But to me guard is still the #1 need. Dt #2

You guys really think Jerry is drafting Avila/Torrance at 26? A guard over a pass rusher, wide receiver, cornerback or tight end. They would have to lock Mr. Jones out of the war room.

Although Kincaid was unable to test, he is the far better athlete of the too. Mayer is excellent in contested catches, but isn't a great run after the catch guy you claim.

With Dak as your QB it will always come down to how explosive our run game is.

Honestly the O is right there. At this point it’s just about getting over the hump in the playoffs. We just need to be healthy and add a few guys in the draft to create more competition on the OL and at WR / TE. There are no giant holes since we did such a good job in FA.
