I'd rather have Joseph than Moehrig
One pick away. Would have immediately been the best FS we’ve have had in a decade. You have all the picks in the world to move up and make sure you get him. Instead we sit. And we watch someone else move up and get him. Glad we held onto that 6th Stevie, I’m sure it’ll be useful
I'm pretty sure that the defense will me much better. How about actually letting them play before you say this sucks and that sucks?Whats so good about this draft?
Our run defense sucked last year. It's still going to suck this year.
We have not fixed the trenches. We are still going to be suspect against the run. Just like last year.

How in the hell did they fail? Those players do not suck. You don't know what you are talking about. They have signed 6 new defensive linemen.I didn't say the players sucked. Im saying they had an opportunity to patch up the dline and they failed. Both 3rd round picks suck. Or just doesn't do much to fix the glaring problem - which is stopping the run.

They signed 3 in free agency and they drafted 3. 3 + 3 is 6. They certainly improved the defense and will do a better job against the run. Later rounds? You have no idea. They took who they wanted. There is nothing wrong with the defensive lineman that they took.6 defensive linemen? Where did you get that number? We didn't need an undersized DL and another DE. Both could have be taken in the later rounds. Also that cornerback is nothing more than a project. Another reach.
Our defense needed run stoppers. Good that they got Parsons and Cox. But certainly there were others that could have helped on the Dline that they missed out on. Once again, safety was ignored just like previous drafts. Seems like runstoppers and safeties are that important in Dallas.
Whose winners / losers list?Just read the winners and losers from last night, guess who heads the losers list? They said the last 3 picks does not move the needle for what this team needed.
Pity party thread. I’m loving some of the posts. One pick away. Would have immediately been the best FS we’ve have had in a decade. Wow, we have a lot of GM’s post here at CZ. I’m impressed. I just wish they’d donate since they’re rich.I didn't say the players sucked. Not only does Joesph start, he is the best defensive back on the team and could be the best corner taken in this draft. The Giants traded down, but I don't think there's any way they trade with Jerry there given what happened in the 1st round (Dallas teaming up with Philly to screw them Giants has to infuriate NY)
I liked Richie Grant
Oh well
I do think Joeseph could start for us though...assuming he keeps his head right

Not worried about Wilson, think he proved he belongs but Kazee is coming off the worst injury to come back from.Because they needed corners more than another safety.
Nobody noticed because the defense as a whole was a dumpster fire in 2020, but Donovan Wilson has turned into a heck of a safety. Pair him with Keanu Neal (depending how much LB he plays) or Damontae Kazee (a safety that can actually make plays on the ball) and the Cowboys should be in solid shape in 2021. They can then go after a long term solution opposite Wilson in next year's draft; or re-sign Neal or Kazee depending on how they perform.
