It's possible to both not be ok with the direction of the team and still not hate irrationally something you do voluntarily, in your precious free time, supposedly for fun.

You’re confusing emotional middle ground with the performance of the team.

Unless you’re saying that acting irrationally when your expectations for the Cowboys aren’t met correlates with the team actually playing better. I hope you know better than that, though, right?
