How dumb are the giants?

Agreed.

Savvy free-agency activity is where the gold is.

How much fairy-dust did we pan-out of this past year's draft?
agreed, and even if we do, right, lets say we get that hall of famer? is he going to hang around a loser organization? or are we going to watch him be successful elsewhere?

these guys still think the league operates from the 1970s.

none of teams in the top 10 care. they arent looking to be winners

Chiefs are at 10.

And no one said that.

Why are you so intent on insulting others? You mad bro?

I didn't insult anyone, weak minded people who think purposely losing at your profession as a good thing, makes them insult themselves. You can't spray perfume on dumb.

And im very happy bro. I had a great 2025.

Funny you all think that drafting higher is going to solve this team's issues. It's great that we get a higher draft pick. But just take a look at the Rams. They hadn't had a 1st round draft pick in half a decade and still can field top players 5th and 6 rounders. Their best receiver is a 6th rounder.

I'm willing to bet that Jerry is going to mess these draft picks up just like what he did with Randy Moss selection.

The giants “big” win against us today prevents us from being dumb enough to win the last two for “season ending momentum”, lol.
I'm waiting to hear Shoddys explanation of exactly how the season ended
and how that's going to benefit his offseason plans
Surely he will spin this somehow

good to hear, kudos, i hope 2026 is just as good

I would liked to have seen the Cowboys close their season out with a win; ending on a positive note. But they didn’t play well enough as a team. The Giants played hard and won the game knowing the implications to their draft order; but that is what professionals do; they play hard and play to win; and more importantly, played with pride for a sub .500 football team. Dallas seemed disinterested and played with no urgency; I didn’t see the desire to end the season with a winning record…despite the rhetoric.

You didn't notice that we pulled most of our starters? Had nothing to do w/ urgency and interest.

we re hoisting stats man, thats better than winning. its the same as being on a certain platform and tossing memes man, thats where its at.

Anyone who believes higher picks are automatic success stories, are extremely dumb
I don't recall anyone saying anything about 'automatic'. It's an improved chance at a difference maker. And given that the drop off tends to usually fall around 15-16 for first round grades, a jump from 18 to 12 does a nice job of improving our odds. I'll take that over a win that makes our team look better than they deserve any day. Throw in the bonus of the NYG dropping out of slot 2 and it's a good day for fans.

Anyone who purposely try to lose a game to get better drafting position is dumb. High picks aren't guaranteed to be successful.
They are the key building block of the league. For a team bad enough to earn a top 5 pick, they need all the help they can get. No they aren't guaranteed, but they are statistically much more likely and as others have said the higher the pick they more they are worth to trade around with. That win isn't going to help a single player on that team be more successful in the future. Whereas putting more talent around them would.

It's better than winning pointless games and tanking your draft position.

If we're talking about professionalism and winning, you should be winning WHEN IT MATTERS. Where was the professionalism and going extra hard when we were in playoff contention? The Cowboys did the right thing this game. This is the kind of game where you evaluate your backup talent. A higher draft position doesn't guarantee a better player but it gives you a much better probability of picking one.

Its not about a win making a team looking better, its about developing an attitude. I would never want to play for a coach or ownership who encourages purposely losing under any circumstances.

Herm Edwards said it best. You play to WIN the game.

Its up to the coaches to coach the players on their team to develop them into a winning mindset and culture. I don't care what round they are drafted.
