How good are the 49ers?

The 49ers are really good any way you want to measure it.

1st in defensive yards/game.
1st defensive points/game.
5th in offensive yards/game.
5th in offensive points/game.
1st in point differential.
2nd in DVOA.

In short, they're a bona fide Super Bowl contender. The only question mark you can even raise with them is Brock Purdy.

They’re extremely good and very well coached. Their roster is deep.

That being said, they’re starting a rookie QB. If he gets rattled, we have a good shot. Micah, Lawrence, Armstrong and Williams are the biggest keys to this game.

And Diggs needs to play less soft against Deebo or he’s going to get man handled.

Lawrence is somewhere on the back of a milk carton again.

I actually was nervous about last nights game, more because I grossly overestimated Tampa. That is a terrible football team. I just hadn't watched them play that much until last night.

SF is in a way different league in terms of physicality and discipline.

anyone who thinks we will cakewalk SF because of what happened last night is basing that prediction on euphoric emotion, not reality.

Tampa Bay was not nearly the team that they were on opening weekend. But things change. It’s a long season.

The best team top to bottom in the NFC. Best defense in football. Unlike most teams, they don't rely on their QB to win games. Purdy doesn't have to be great to win this game. SF is better than us at most facets. In fact, maybe all of them.

The 49ers are fool's gold! They are not the world-beaters that everyone perceives them to be. They are capable of punching you in the mouth but when they get punched back they fold. The Cowboys had a far harder schedule and thus tested for battle. The Cowboys open this week -3.5 point underdogs but watch that spread close as the week advances toward gameday.

I think this game will come down to how well DQ schemes the defense to confuse Purdy. And yes, we are gonna have to hold up in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

It's going to be a tough game, no doubt. Especially since it will be Dallas' 4th road game. As others have already said, if we can figure out a way to make Purdy shoulder more of the offense, hopefully he will feel the playoff pressure and make some mistakes. I know he has been playing great, but eventually some of that magic will wear off. Plus, Niners have won something like 11 in a row? That's tough to keep rolling in the NFL.

Time will tell. I just hope Dallas rolls in there with a chip on their should remembering how last season ended.

I hate the niners with and it kills me to say that they are one of the best, if not the best , teams in the nfl. I’m somewhat envious of them because they are what I have wanted the cowboys to become.However ,The 49ers aren’t perfect And can be beaten . They struggled with the 9-8 Seahawks
Through the first half in last weeks game and nearly lost to the
Raiders a few weeks ago.I just hope the cowboys keep up the intensity and focus from last week.

You didn't over estimate the Bucs, you under estimated the Cowboys.
