After 3 games he has 14 receptions on 23 targets for 169 yards and 1 touchdown.

Extrapolate that over the course of a 16 game season and we're looking at

75 receptions, 901 yards, and 5 touchdowns.

True he hasn't had an offseason here and came halfway into the season, but certainly isn't looking worth a first round draft pick.

His greatest accomplishment is likely moving this team from a 5 win team to an 8 win team based on the margins. These numbers are barely better than Dez's numbers last year and he wouldn't have cost us a 1st round pick.

I think it just solidifies the true elephant in the room. Receiver is/was not the problem with this offense. Goodbye Kellen Moore. Goodbye Scott Linehan. Goodbye Jason Carrot.

They got rid of Dez, because Dez will not accept losing without calling them out on their crap in front of the whole team.

Can we let the season play out before the whine threads start over again.

We just need a larger sample size.

If you would have extrapolated his stats before yesterday it would have been
88 catches-1064 yards-8 TDs

But the "his greatest accomplishment is likely moving this team from a 5 win to 8 win team" is pretty funny. If Cooper is good for an additional 3 wins then he is easily worth a 1st lol.

No, those are horrid numbers over an entire season. But I think its ridiculous to take the first 3 games. But we already know that this isn't a pass heavy offense. When the QB is throwing for 200 yards a game, you arent going to have a 1300 yard receiver.

Any way you slice it, I take Cooper over Dez 10 out of 10 times. Imagine Cooper with Romo as the QB in Garretts 80%, one dimensional, pass happy offenses.

500 yards for Zeke in his last 3 games says it all. Plus Dak has been more accurate.

Says what? There’s no proof that defenses are playing the Cowboys any differently than before Cooper came along. And did you really just suggest that Cooper’s mere presence has made Dak more accurate??
