Saw a play, in the 4th quarter, where he showed it all... He show speed to bounce it to outside right, then showed power to go through tackles and then downed himself and did not going out of bounds. They talk about how good of blitz pick up guy he is, and also, great receiver.. In short, he does it all..

So, best RB since Adrian Peterson? Actually, heard it reported a scout said that...

i would agree with this.
If Emmitt has anyone to worry about it catching his record, it might be Zeke. Zeke has the speed that Emmitt never did and he's running behind a similarly nasty Oline opening up holes. Emmitt (probably my all time favorite player) got caught from behind a lot. Zeke will never get caught from behind, those 40 yard runs Emmitt had will be 60 or 70 for Zeke and end in TDs. He's everything I thought he'd be for us....other teams should be terrified.
mark it down in 3 inch headlines, Prescott and Elliott will bring a Lombardi to Dallas......maybe several
great to see the birth of a new era...like watching Emmitt, Troy, and Irving coming of age early on.....
gonna be beautiful, get your popcorn and size your ring fingers

A complete back. Without the line we have, I very much doubt he'd be leading the league in yards but would still be very good. It's a perfect storm I hope to see for the next 8 seasons!

He's putting up Alfred Morris like numbers his rookie year so far...must be pretty good!

j/k

I do think there are a 10-12 players that would be leading the league right now if they traded places with Dak

But there is no denying that he is special.

Excellent runner. If anything, he doesn't have elite "wiggle" in the open field. Everything else is above average-elite.

That play to go down in bounds was the most anti-TWill play I've seen. Fast, powerful, great vision, great blocker, and a high football IQ. If he has the longevity of Emmitt to go with it good lord.

He is an all around RB. He has the size and strength to grind out tough yards, speed to take it the distance. Has good hands as a receiver and continues to show very good ability blocking. Kid can do it all

He is going to break a lot of records if he can play well into his 30's, probably needs 12+ good seasons.

I personally think he is the best running back on this team

He was tailor-made for our offense right now, and him coming to us was a gift from the football gods. His speed has 100% translated to the NFL, which is always a big (the biggest?) concern for backs coming out of college. But I'm not sure which asset is better: his strength or speed. The dude is strong and fights off defenders like few RBs do at this level.

Any RB can run well behind this line. Not all will be elite, though. His top-end skills along with our line make the run game a nightmare for opponents. It's so fun to watch. Being able to sustain the long drives we've been able to and take pressure off the defense (by scoring and giving them plenty of rest) is more pivotal for the D than any defensive player we could've drafted would've been. Zeke is absolutely essential to that philosophy. He's legit and is getting better.

I loved that. It's one thing to be watching the game from home, it's another to be in the heat of competition and yet be mentally cognizant of the clock. High football IQ, indeed.

I don't know if I'm going all homer or not, but I think Zeke is the best runner in football. Watch how he sets up the middle, and in a flash of light, he squirts outside to take the corner. The NFL had better buckle up because they are in for it with Zeke. Zeke has a combination of power, speed, tackle-breaking, quickness, he has it all. Plus his attitude is infectious. The way he's running up and down the sideline pumping up his offensive line, we have fallen into something special here.

And for all those folks who wanted to win meaningless games last year, this is what I was talking about. You lose those games to get Zeke. You lose those games to get top players. You win in this league with talent.

He's the best TB in the NFL right now.

It's either him or Bell.

Remember when people were calling him "trash" during the NYG game? Good times.

True but I will say Zeke was just as unhappy. The next game vs Washington he runs better but has 2 fumbles in the game and his response was it did not matter that he ran better when he had 2 fumbles in the game. Zeke seems to be his own harshest critic and expects a lot out of himself.
