How is it we can play D against Eagles?

They are what they are. I certainly wouldn't call it bad luck.

That doesn't make it any less frustrating as a fan. To be that close every year and miss, only to be left with a lower draft pick. It's pretty depressing.

Team reminds me of the late 90s. Enough core playmakers to remain competitive, but not enough foundation to take it anywhere.

I don't know about you but I'm tired of talking about how close we were to winning the division.

Heck you can go back throughout the season. GB. Detroit. Even KC. The what ifs are very frustrating when you always seem to come up just short every year.

It is getting tiring.

No offense, but I think youre giving them too much credit. Going 5-1 in THIS division wouldnt be hard for half (or more) of the teams in the NFL.

Exactly, we had one good win all year. We won 4 games against the skins and giants, beat the lousy vikings and raiders at home, and beat a ram team that was playing awful football at the time.

I posted in another thread that Dallas had played 5 games against teams in the bottom four on defense in points allowed per game. Well, Philly played those same teams and they got to play Dallas twice. 12 of the teams we played ranked 15th or worse in points allowed and they pretty much played the same teams. Their offensive stats are undoubtedly skewed by their schedule. Will be interested to see how their offense does against NO, which was one of the only two teams Dallas faced that ranked in the top 10 in points allowed (and they handled us rather easily). Philly didn't draw them in the regular season.

We broke through the interior of their line with mainly street scrubs. Imagine what more talented Dlineman would do to them. In the second we forced Foles away from the pocket and it disrupted everything. Our CB's matched up well and Mo's presence was big. I hope he can stay healthy next year.
