I literally just went over this with my son. My issue is that after Disney bought Star Wars and appointed KK as the head of LucasFilm, she immediately declared, "The force is female." (One can just imagine the outcry from people if they said it was "male" - even if they didn't watch or like Star Wars it wouldn't be "allowed".) So you were sure about THAT and your Mary Sue character, but no planning for the ACTUAL STORY! They let anyone make stuff up, brought back Palpatine and undid Anakin's sacrifice...all to increase sales with their target market.

Exactly, they basically took a boy brand that everyone loved and turned it into a girl brand that everyone hates. They've ruined just about every legacy character/franchise they bought. The new Indiana Jones was disaster Mary Sue slop as well. Insanity.

The goal of charlatans, hoodwinkers and even earnest, honest people is to change a person's frame of mind...how they see REALITY. For example, we all know the Cowboys needed to win out in order to make the playoffs - (fact) - but how that possibility is perceived is frame.

Many of you "fell into Jerry's frame" by:

1. Believing this team could compete after doing NOTHING in the offseason to compete with other teams (besides Pickens trade)

2. Buying into BS - Brian Schottenheimer - after he originally wanted to keep McCarthy! Anyone who believes this is part of some grand design and lauds Schotty's "changes" must also admit that Jerry had 2-3 years to look at him and thought..."Yeah...but he's not Mike McCarthy..."

3. Believing the choice was between Prescott and Parsons. This is a FALSE CHOICE and only someone who has fallen into Jerry's frame of mind - that is, DUPED - could ever believe this sophistry. I was glad we traded Micah, but still, it was a lie and a falsehood made to prop up his paying Dak at the last minute.

I've read multiple books and articles on the subject and the general consensus now is Jimmy planned to coach the team in 1994 before deciding what to do next.

The events immediately after Super Bowl 28 just sped up the process. Jerry was an egomaniac and so was Jimmy. The fact Jimmy admitted he was "intrigued" about taking the Jaguars' head coaching job in December 1993 was the start of the end. He preached loyalty to all the coaches and players and then started making comments about coaching an expansion team.

Then Jerry got drunk at the NFL Owners meeting, spewed to some reporters about possibly firing Jimmy, and the rest is history.

I thought it was Jummy who, holding court with his coaches at a restaurant, snubbed. Jerry when he approached and wanted to celebrate when them.

Were those two separate incidents?

I was listening to a personwho studied how boy and girls interact with their toys. The boys BECOME the toy, the girl changes it. Think dresses and lipstick.

Not to get into gender wars here but...most men don't want to invade spaces where women congregate...but women absolutely try to invade men's spaces (cigar room, football, etc>). So football, Star Wars...need to "include" them. And to your point...the first thing they want to do is mollify or change it.
