My sister in law lives in Seattle, my wife's has been wanting to visit. Do you know how far the giant redwoods are from there? I've always wanted to see them. I know General Sherman came down recently.

Don't know. Says they're in Northern California. It takes 3 hours to drive from Seattle to Portland, which is in northern Oregon. Never drove further than that. Google Maps says it's about a 9 hour drive to the top of California.

2 1/2 to 3 minutes.

I really should just walk because it's less than a mile, but I'm not trying to have to wipe away pit stains after I get to work.
I had an assistant coach once that lived across the street from our field house and he would still drive to school. Literally took him longer to drive around the back into our parking area than it would take him to walk about 200 feet. You would think he was lazy, but he would jog a couple of miles every day after I dismissed the staff. Go figure.

I used to work at the pool in my neighborhood. I still drove. Lol

It depends on 'who' I feel like working for,my best bro's yard is just around the curve from me ,so that's a 1 minute drive, that asphalt outfit was 15-20 minutes down the interstate ( but there's a strip club 1 block from that yard, and he pays better than bro,so I factor that into it sometimes.)
And when the 'kids' come back down from Idaho this fall( it's the easiest gig and pays the best) that yard is 25-30 minutes down the interstate.
