How long from the time you log on your device before you come here to read?

I think we all spend too much time with this team. Their progress is like molasses and we all like watching paint dry.

But my question is..how long from the time you log on your device before you come here to read.

First stop..second ..third..and how long will you admit to staying..5 minutes..30 minutes..never leave..its your homepage..?

Ok..fess up. For me it's before I have coffee..then at least 30 minutes then shower, shave, another coffee..more page scanning..then back to real life.

Ok..over to the Forum..the home of the brave and ever hopeful.

For me it waxes and wanes. It's way more interesting during FA, Draft and the season. Now days it seems like all the decisions have been made, there is very little hope for some miraculous move.
I don't think we will ever wake up to a Brady, or Manning signing with us. Jerry runs a very predictable shop, between 7 and 9 wins, try to get in the playoffs. Pat the guys on the back. We like our guys, you gave it the old college try. You get your check on Friday.
You did your best. Don't rock the boat, say nothing controversial, he has a business and sponsors to please. The money keeps rolling in, he doesn't mind paying his guys.
More revenue, larger bottom line. His franchise is already the most valuable and has not sniffed a championship game since 1996.... Since 1996.
He does not care about winning a Super Bowl. It just isn't his motivation.
Imagine if the Lakers, Celtics didnt make it to even the conference finals in 25 years, would they be highest revenue generating team in the league?
Yankees not making an ALCS in 25 years.

To be honest, I open this tab as soon as I get on the computer. This is one of the few remaining leisure/sports forums I visit.
I'm out of school for the summer (pursuing my PhD), but I still have research papers to write, research papers to read, etc., to prepare for my comprehensive exams and dissertation, as well as an on-line class I teach that I must prepare for by the start of class in two weeks.
But I get bore reading research papers, so I flip over to this site (like I'm doing now ) to take a break from boring and technical research papers.
I could have summarized at least two research papers by now, but I just can't concentrate long (I've long suspected I have ADHD). And don't let it be a good topic on here I want to read and respond to.

Yeah, I waste too much time on this site, but I'm actually better than I used to be. I used to spend WAY too much time in this forum, so much so that a poster from another site that disband years ago but has since resurrected itself knew exactly where to find me for a reunion. Here.

I know I can sound like a broken record, but someone who is in their early early 40's it is very disheartening. Remember in early years, the Skins, Giants, Niners ran the NFC, we got good from 91-95 and that has been about it. The 5 year span from 89-93 was amazing as a whole, but that should have been the jumping point to at least 10 -15 years of being a dominant force in the league. The league was in Jerry's hands.
1991 was the first year I thought that team was real. The loss to the Lions with Irvin crying was something you don't forget. 1994 Championship with the Triplets is also hard to forget.
Jerry did a disservice to the fans and to that core.

Im on here a lot......not always speaking my mind, but I need the distraction in today's world.

I was never not into this....but lately it's become something I prefer to interact with others on much more than in the past.

We don't spend too much time on this, we just need and deserve some results finally.

It's a way to vent when we don't get it.

I used to be on this forum constantly, and I was all about the Cowboys all the time.

Nowdays, I barely care. I mosey through here about 5% as much as I used to.

The NFL has grown lame, and this embarrassment of a franchise really isn't worth anyone's time.

It's possible to be a fan of the team and the players while still being a realist about the Jones' and about the poor decisions this team has made that have contributed to the lack of success. First time I drop a fudgie is when I check the site. If a conversation interests me I'll come back to it post fudgie. Usually late at night. If you don't hear from me on this site it means I'm constipated and any prayers would be appreciated.
