Pffttt...

Your incessant whining on this subject deserves responses like that. Your agenda is spectacularly old.

why even reply we should have just let this thread die out.

Notice that the thread starter is the one whom saved this puppy from the archives...it was slowly slipping away.

He also should have the respect for the other members of this board to not recycle his same feminine drama about Owens constantly and of course, live up to his word the week that Owens was signed and just leave.

IF you really are Coakley's Dad, (which I doubt, personally), how could you be pro T.O.??? Doesn't character matter more to you than simply talent on the field?

I would think any father would want their son to be character first, football second.

"Sports coddling" has given T.O. a free pass on growing up, his whole world consists of selfishness to his own detriment. I'm hoping he understands that teamwork can help his personal career at some point. He really needs to get his life right!!!

How can you possibly condone that kind of example for young football players?

i usually dont get involved in these spitting contests, but i will say this: I do enjoy watching T.O. play, without a doubt. I think he brings personality and explosiveness to the field every game, that feeling like at any moment something special might happen. I also think it makes teams harder to devise defensive gameplans to stop us because you need to dedicate extra defenders to pay attention to him leaving other targets wide open. Do I condone all the antics and off-field issues that go on..NO of course i dont. But did he shoot someone, do steroids, get caught with guns, flunk a drug test, anything criminal?? No, would be that answer. Michael Irvin got caught with hookers and caught doing cocaine..did that take away from what he brought to the field and why we loved and appreciated him? No, it didnt. Should we take the playmaker out of the ring of honor for what he did? i like T.O. you dont have to, but i love the dynamic that he brings to the field.

His life appears to be quite right.

He's earned every dollar he has been paid. He is still at the top of his game at his position.

Is your "life right"?

Apparently not if you allow what a football player does to affect your marriage.

Kudos to you for sticking to your word and not watching anymore Cowboys games while Owens is on the team, because that is the only way you can sit their and say Owens doesn't understand teamwork. If you watched the games, you would know that Owens was very supportive of his teammates, even Bledsoe when he started falling apart, and of Romo during his highs and lows of last season. He even was seen on the sidelines pumping up the defense on many occasions. He even went as far as to befriend Vandejadt when he couldn't find his leg anymore. He has changed, and if you can't see that, you are the one that needs to change.

With Goodell running the NFL with an iron fist, how long will Owens last, 8 games???

Cause he sure can't pull that Romanowski-type face-spitting like he did last year and expect to get away with it!!

I find it very hard to believe that anyone with a brain in their head can't separate the difference between the actions that have led to the suspensions of Chris Henry and Adam Jones as well as the scrutiny towards Mike Vick and Tank Johnson from the actions of Terrell Owens.

Nathan, can you show me one illegal action for which TO has been charged? Can you show me where the police have arrested him? Can you show me where there are charges pending?

I don't necessairly like the guy either Nathan, but damn, at least I am realistic. You should try it sometime. Please don't tell me you actually equate the crap he has done and said since he arrived in Dallas with the things those other players are in hot water for. Judas Priest man, didn't you learn anything from your last rant?

You're a fine one to talk about condoning behavior; consider your own:

I love my Cowboys, I won’t watch them be torn apart by this spoiled brat.

If you can make statements like this and go back on them, I guess the sky's the limit.

Absolutely he does.

This is just being a flaming ignoramus, though. Like I said earlier, when DW observed that he just dropped a turd in the room and bolted, this is what he does (thread history). That's just baiting and pathetic. So, he can keep his right to make BS threads like this (like anything TO has done can be equated to PacMan and Chris Henry and Tank Johnson..... moron) - I think the entire board has the right to flame the **** out of him. ;)

Cuz this is beyond stupid.
