Real lucky. This kid is going to be a straight up gamebreaker. And let's be real, he is still just a kid, a kid that is slowly but surely getting it as he becomes a MAN in the NFL, and look out. I personally believe he will shatter every Cowboys receiving record. He may possibly break into Jerry Rice territory when all is said and done. I truly believe that.

Here's the stat they flashed during the Bryant interview in the Texans/Cowboys preseason game:

He is a beast could you imagine if he was able to pick up the average a few more yards? Irvin at 18.5?? Wow if Dez ever got that close holy crap talk about unstoppable

He's going to need great qb play after romo to get those records too. He's going to overwhelm secondaries this season.

That yds per catch isn't all that significant to me, the TD's are what's amazing along with the receiving yards.

Astronomically lucky that we have him. Not only does he want to be the best, but he wants to make the team better first and foremost. The kid just absolutely loves football.

It drives me absolutely crazy when I have to hear other fans trashing Dez because of media contrived BS headlines... But then I remember that his play will do the talking, and they'll have no choice but to eat their words.

Along with ware, the best first round pick in 20 years.

Beast

i just find it funny that a year ago people were ragging on him for being immature and anything else they could think of.

giving him time was out of the question.

It might seem farfetched, but it definitely seemed like destiny the way Dez ended up with the Boys. I think the most attractive thing about Dez is how he recognizes that the Cowboys have stuck with him through thick and thin, and for that, he is willing to give it his all to become a consummate professional in the league to better himself and better the reputation of the Boys taking a risk on him. Barring an injury, I really feel that this is the year he takes that last step to elite status and never looks back.

We are really lucky. I remember teams kept not taking him in the draft and I was saying in my head come on jerry move up and get him. And sure enough jerry did.

Lots of people eating crow now. Dude I still remember the days leading up to the draft and draft day. I hadn't been that excited about a pick in a long time. What an awesome day.

When we took him, I was so excited I ran around my house hollering. Good times

Maybe this stat line will help....!?

Miles has 250..i think so, it was not a record.

I like to compare dez to Aaron Rodgers draft selection. People knew he was a top 5 talent but teams overlooked them. Today. They are 25 others team who regret not drafting the beast which is dez. Just like Aaron Rodgers.

Whoa take it easy with that stuff. But I agree he is a beast, definitely the heir to the WR throne after CJ starts to slow down.

I almost crashed my car when I was reading twitter that draft day. Saw that we drafted Dez n needed to correct my stealing real quick! I was freaking out with excitement!
