How did he choke. In the 4th quarter he was down 8, drove them down the field and scored while also running in a 2 point conversion to tie the game. How is that choking?
Apparently he didn't step out on defense to intercept a pass and score a pick-six to win the game, duh!

Yeah this eagle talks getting old people keep leaving out the fact that they just played our backups Washington and Philly both got to play the Dallas practice squad mostly all backups not all I know it doesn't sound like in nothing but an excuse but that's the truth we had the most injuries in the entire NFL and they were a lot to keep players at one position or another it was almost completely destroyed playing with practice squad players as starters it's tough to win in this league especially against a team loaded like the eagles but Washington struggled to beat us so the gaps are not as big as people wanna make because the injuries matter yes they matter they may not be an excuse to some but they are real factual reasons there was an appearance that the eagles were more dominant I'm sorry but I've seen healthy Cowboys versus healthy eagles and it's typically a split the rest of the NFC can't even compete with Dallas when they're fully healthy...
There is not a single injured Cowboy who would start for the Eagles.. a lame excuse..

Did you see him outplay Mahomes two years ago?
He played Well. He also fumbled for 6 something we would never let our guys live down. I watch him every single week he’s not that good. You put him on our team and you’d want him gone in a few weeks

That has zero impact on how the OG grades out. And an OG isn’t changing his assignment mid play because the OT got beat or went the wrong way. You are focused on your assignment, you don’t freelance.

Played line in college and did some coaching, never did I ever worry about what the guy next to me was doing. **** happens way too fast for that, you execute your assignment and assume your teammates are doing the same.
It absolutely makes Smiths job harder when the guy next to you is a disaster. Did Tyler have a better season last year playing next to Tyron or this year next to Guyton? Easy answer. The left side of the line was a mess.

Cee Dee would be that rarity--a 1,000 yard slot receiver in that offense. How in the hell are you going to cover Cee Dee, Smith, Brown, and still keep a check on Barkley and running Hurts? That's a potential GOAT offense, and probably a GOAT receiving group.
Agreed 100%

You will probably like this Kay Adams (damn she is hot) clip about AJ Brown

Lamb better than any receiver on their roster and T Smith is much better than their current starter. (Landon Dickerson). It’s not even a discussion.
Stew, when you assess Lamb compared to AJ Brown, how does Lamb stack up on the Kay Adams scale?

I wouldn't count out Overshown. I know Dean took a big leap, but I'm not sure Dean is better when both are healthy. They do have a different style of playing.

Sadly, for us, if you took the best offensive players from the entire NFC East and made a starting roster, the Eagles arguably have 7 of the best 11 in the division.

@Scottishcowboy asks a question on another thread....how many Cowboys would start on the Eagles? Take out special teams and I would say two, Micah and Ceedee. Doesnt that show how far away we are from competing with the Eagles? How many do you say?
Could Jerry identify Eagle players that would start on the Cowboys?

Does Overshown translate to the Dean role or the Baun role. I tend to think his responsibilities are more like Baun’s than like Dean’s

That's probably the most accurate. I think Parson

Take CD off that list and you are about right. CD would play the slot in 3 receiver sets. With a receiver core like that they would need to take the tight end off the field and limit the running game.
Absolutely Parsons. The Eagles are a loaded roster but their DE's are not elite. That's why I think the Eagles let Sweat walk in FA and land Miles Garrett. Can't you just see that being their one signing.

Dude give that a break this is what happens you would take Smith off the field and put on CD lamb CD lamb in 2023 put together a season that had stats and almost this were the same as Smith and brown together literally almost did the job of two players the man is an all pro and I don't care how good you think that that's core of receivers they have are we're talking about who they can replace not play with you're looking at this wrong and there's more than that there's Parsons lamb and Prescott if you don't think Prescott can play Ascot or better with that offense that loaded offensive line run game and receiver court that you aren't been paying attention he's every bit as good as jalen hurts when it comes from the pocket you don't need to be a good runner when your run games already strong I take the better passer and I believe that's Prescott and also people leave out Tyler Smith another all pro in the offensive line you're saying that he's not good enough to be an eagle?

Y'all can try to dismiss some of our players all you want and that's just to name a few people have talked about a few in here but you're very casual if you don't think Prescott could play for the eagles like they wouldn't be the same team or better with him there if that's all you switched out I'll tell you Romo or Prescott on our 90s championship teams in our 70s championship teams would be as successful I mean I love Roger and Troy but they had every advantage and benefit across their team that our current quarterbacks have not had..

That's what this question really is it's not who they can play with and who they can replace on those teams and yes we have more players than you think that could play with the eagles... Hell even more of them Andy Reid would love on his team Andy Reid does a lot more with less than the eagles.. What they do is far more impressive than the eagles and I'm tired of talking about the eagles but we have more players that are now being forgotten.

even maybe honorable mentioned to, Jlew, Bland and Healthy Trayvon Diggs, they would find places for them, I'm not talking about the injured ones, I'm talking about what they would do with the rest of that eagle's team WITH THEM..

Such a Cowboys thing to say. A real star players lifts up others around him. A star player in Dallas blames others around him. How do you expect me to make the pro bowl unless you surround me with other pro bowl players.

Smith is such a good example of what happens in Dallas. A fine player who plays at a reasonable level is immediately propped up as "the best guard in football". Nonsense. He was outplayed by guys ton his own team that came off the bench at the end of the season.

At least Guyton was man enough to play LT. Smith saw the level of competition at LT and wanted no part of that. He leaned well at the alter of Martin how to be a "pro" in the NFL.
