Another thing is, Nakobe Dean and Nolan Smith are turning into stars.
I don't know about stars but they for sure look better than they did last year. That's the Cowboys though. The Cowboys eventually get players in the draft and down the road they turn into players. But where Eagles set themselves apart from us is they invest in a Barkley. Then even went bargain bin shopping and came out with Zack Baun. Just a great offseason.

Not a far fetched comment, Jalen isn't all that.
At all. I get it if people feel the opposite. I won't argue against it. Jalen has been solid this year. Two years ago seems like his ceiling. I Don't think he will ever be that good again but they don't need him to be at the same time.

Huh? You know Guyton was drafted to play LT. It was nuts to think he was a plug and play type, but Jerry and his idiot son thought so. As for Smith, he did play LT and played it well during his time in Dallas. Smith isn't the best guard in the NFL but he's certainly in discussion for top 5. I loathe Jerry as much as the next, but I don't downgrade a players talent because they drafted him.
I’m still pissed that they didn’t keep him at LT.

Absolutely Parsons. The Eagles are a loaded roster but their DE's are not elite. That's why I think the Eagles let Sweat walk in FA and land Miles Garrett. Can't you just see that being their one signing.
Which means what exactly? You don't need elite DE's that get neutralized in big games.

I didn’t think Garrett was a free agent. Eagles got to the Super Bowl without Myles Garrett. He’s a very expensive player. And Philly has to make decisions on which of their free agents they want, or even can, sign. Just like every other team in the NFL. The Eagles are not run much differently than almost all the other teams in the League. They’re just run much differently than the Cowboys.

They’ve made some good decisions. That’s why they are where they are. They don’t possess magic for god’s sake. They have to concern themselves with next season. I’m sure Washington’s progress has not escaped their attention. I doubt they win this Super Bowl. Unfortunately it will simply make their FO even more determined.
Exactly why I think if they lose they go after Garrett and worry about the cap issues later. Garrett isn't a FA but there have been rumors about him wanting out of Cleveland.
It will be an interesting game. I think the Eagles have a MUCH better roster but KC has the top 2 areas for a franchise covered 1) The best coach in the league 2) The best QB in the league

I agree, but we all now Jerry is not going to find a Jalen Carter and definitely is not going to pay for one.
The Eagles were incredibly lucky that Carter fell as far as he did in the draft, and then they traded up a spot to grab him when he was available (smart). That has to be the steal of the 2023 draft. He got to be mentored/tutored for a year by Fletcher Cox, but even still, it's taken him till his second year to realize his full potential.

What if he hasn’t reached his “full potential”?
