How Many Cowboys Would Start on the Eagles?

Dak, Lamb and Micah.
As much as I think Dak catches too many strays, he’s not starting over a QB that is going to his second SB in three years. Plus, the threat of Hurts running helps to keep defenses honest. Dak is quickly approaching Matt Ryan mobility level.

At this point Hurts is so far ahead of Dak simply mentioning both in the same sentence is insulting. Hurst is a grown man. Our washed up cripple will be lucky to make it half way through a regular season.

I disagree. When I saw Tanner McKee come in and light our defense up I knew then anyone could quarterback that team. I like Hurts but they don't win because of him. But i give him due because he doesn't kill them or hasn't yet. I think with Barkley and any pocket passer they'd be fine. They play the way they do BECAUSE of Hurts limitations. Not because they are built around him. Hurts lost last year in the 1st round to the Bucc's.....next year go to the SB with Barkley. Barkley matters. Not Hurts.

You guys are funny. Bring up Hurts against anyone, and he's a "running back." Bring him up against Dak, and he's a "grown man" lol. You guys insult Hurts any other time....you guys don't even sound like Cowboy fans anymore, lol. Just anti-Cowboys

Absolutely Parsons. The Eagles are a loaded roster but their DE's are not elite. That's why I think the Eagles let Sweat walk in FA and land Miles Garrett. Can't you just see that being their one signing.
If they can’t sign Sweat how can they sign Garrett? There is a limit on how much the Eagles have to spend.

The main reason isn't Barkley. It's that the Eagles defense went from being a massive liability and one of the worst in the league to a major upgrade and the #1 defense in the league.

The main reason is Barkley because Barkley helps them control the clock and keeps their defense off the field. They are built very well on both sides of the football on the line. They have a solid defense too and Fangio got some great play out of them.

They could sign Sweat but not Sweat and take on Garrets contract. It's one or the other. Maybe I'm wrong but I just feel it coming... especially if they lose the SB. Sweat is gonna get paid but he's just average. All the Eagles need to have one of the greatest rosters EVER is a star DE and a WR3. Maybe a top S to replace Blankenship but the secondary is loaded now.

I didn’t think Garrett was a free agent. Eagles got to the Super Bowl without Myles Garrett. He’s a very expensive player. And Philly has to make decisions on which of their free agents they want, or even can, sign. Just like every other team in the NFL. The Eagles are not run much differently than almost all the other teams in the League. They’re just run much differently than the Cowboys.

They’ve made some good decisions. That’s why they are where they are. They don’t possess magic for god’s sake. They have to concern themselves with next season. I’m sure Washington’s progress has not escaped their attention. I doubt they win this Super Bowl. Unfortunately it will simply make their FO even more determined.

Fangio is just as big a pickup as Barkley. Their DC last year looked lost the second half of the year.

He's a big pick up for sure. Zack Baun was too. Mitchell and De Jean. They had a great offseason. I think in past years they've had overrated seasons based on "names"...this year they legit had a great offseason.

Prescott still better than Jalen
Not now. Dak is a better passer but Hurts provides more rushing and passing. He’s much more mobile than Dak. Hurts had over 600 yards rushing this season with 14 rushing TDs and he’s performed better in big games. Dak’s lack of mobility has hurt his game.

If I've learned anything watching Howie Roseman build teams, he is a magician with the cap and isn't afraid to cut guy as soon as their pay exceeds their production. For example, there is no way Howie would have hung on to DLAW last year and he would be working on an injury settlement with Diggs right now. He's patient with rookies on rookie deals, but if you are a veteran on a big contract low in remaining gauranteed money, you will be traded or cut.

Another thing is, Nakobe Dean and Nolan Smith are turning into stars.

So I guess it’s a wash

It’s not a wash, Hurts is better. He’s had 29 rushing TDs the past two seasons. He’s ability to run and throw has made him a better QB. Dak’s mobility has gotten worse every year. His latest injury will likely slow him down even more.

Prescott’s numbers are actually better . But I totally agree. Prescott is one hit from career over.

Such a Cowboys thing to say. A real star players lifts up others around him. A star player in Dallas blames others around him. How do you expect me to make the pro bowl unless you surround me with other pro bowl players.

Smith is such a good example of what happens in Dallas. A fine player who plays at a reasonable level is immediately propped up as "the best guard in football". Nonsense. He was outplayed by guys ton his own team that came off the bench at the end of the season.

At least Guyton was man enough to play LT. Smith saw the level of competition at LT and wanted no part of that. He leaned well at the alter of Martin how to be a "pro" in the NFL.
Huh? You know Guyton was drafted to play LT. It was nuts to think he was a plug and play type, but Jerry and his idiot son thought so. As for Smith, he did play LT and played it well during his time in Dallas. Smith isn't the best guard in the NFL but he's certainly in discussion for top 5. I loathe Jerry as much as the next, but I don't downgrade a players talent because they drafted him.
