How many run attempts will Deuce Deuce get per game?

I know it's way too early to tell, but I just checked his stats from last season and he had 293 rush attempts (averaged 20 carries per game for 5.3 yards per rush), which really surprised me.

I initially thought he'd get maybe 4 to 6 carries a game, if that, and be more of a gadget player. But it seems like he can carry a much larger load if needed.

Pollard shouldn't get more than 20 carries a game imo. There's probably 12-20 more that will be needed if this offense does become a "run first" identity.

What's your expectation for Deuce Vaughn?
His carries will depend on his performance. If he consistently breaks off good plays, he'll get more carries. If he gets stoned at the line of scrimmage, he'll get less.

I’m starting to think Dallas may like Malik Davis more than we realize.

If you watch him his vision and shiftiness really stand out.

When he gets to the 3rd level he’s going to get caught though. That’s his weakness. Top speed.

But maneuvering through traffic is as good as it gets.

come along slow like Pollard , agree maybe 5 carry's and 2-3 routes per game but earn more and more as he shows he can handle it.. again, Like Pollard. Pollard shouldn't get more then 15-16 IMHO lok what been happening, he closed the year 6 games no TDs, no explosive plays, 3.8 YPC and 51 YPG,,umm he fell off and was hurt twice in 6 games.. pollards not pollard after 15 carries over 17 games he needs to be at his best and having a RBBC use 3-4 every game is best for the team and these RB core skillsets,

tear a page out of SF, NE, or KC recent use of many RBs. we have a GOOD TE group and FB as well to create a nice run game..

He was sick at the Combine it has been stated numerous times.
look at NFL comps with similar height and weight, like being discussed inhere like Sproles, megget, lionel james, MJD etc they all have some great seasons. the fact he survived 3 seasons with 5k all purpose yards and a lot of tds in the big 12 says he can handle it. its lie those few NBA players under 5'8 that could dunk and pay PG in the NBA they were told all their life they were too short and somehow proved people wrong,.ie spud web and Nate

its already been done so why cant it be done again?? because you say so LOL

People saying he can’t tote the load look at his college numbers he ran it 20+ times almost every game including against power 5 schools. He’s a lot better than people think.

10 touches a game between run and pass is appropriate
Mike Fisher this morning really angered and dismayed me. He was laughing at the kid & this notion that the fans believe in Deuce Vaughns ability. Did he even watch him at Kstate? Like u said, the kids numbers are gawdy. Hes much mre than a gadget guy. The strange Zeke luv by many is puzzling since he hasnt been relevant in several years. I think many fear change. We are clearly in flux at rb and its scaring folks.

Early I think it depends on how the game is going so if were up by a TD or more I can see him getting more carries but if were down he'll maybe get a carry if TP needs a breather. Overall touches 3-5 average maybe more as the season wears on.

He will not hold up with a lot of carries. 5 carries and a few receptions a game. What you look for is what he does on those few touches, a 20 yard gain or a homerun hit.

5'5 and 170 pounds, his body won't be able to handle the NFL with too much work.

0-6 see Tavon Austin and Turpin.
way off. This kid isnt a gadget guy. Hes a football player. Gets better as the game goes by. He needs touches. I think 10-12 a game is what he can handle. More some games. hes not a bell cow back at the NFL level. But he is a nice rotational complementary back that has juice to change a game.
