Hypothetically he makes the team, I'd say you can script 7-10 touches a game.
After you drop some Deuce on them, you wipe them out with some TP
which is what many want, including the likes of the Mike Fishers and the hangers on. Folks just have this fixation on Zeke and its weird. This game is humbling and Zeke is 0 different. Hes washed, thats the facts. Thus far, 32 teams agree. If they bring Zeke back he won't get many carries at all.
I know it's way too early to tell, but I just checked his stats from last season and he had 293 rush attempts (averaged 20 carries per game for 5.3 yards per rush), which really surprised me.
I initially thought he'd get maybe 4 to 6 carries a game, if that, and be more of a gadget player. But it seems like he can carry a much larger load if needed.
Pollard shouldn't get more than 20 carries a game imo. There's probably 12-20 more that will be needed if this offense does become a "run first" identity.
What's your expectation for Deuce Vaughn?
I dont think they bring him back now. Deuece and TP do just fine in short yardage and add in they can also take it to the house at any moment.which is what many want, including the likes of the Mike Fishers and the hangers on. he also has the most rushing yards in the NCAA from 2020 to 2022 and most all purpose yards by a nice marginI'll guess that he gets 25% of the carries.
He had more carries in college than any of the top 10 RBs in this draft.
He also had the most receiving yards of any RB in this draft.
plus we have RJ and Malik.I dont think they bring him back now. Deuece and TP do just fine in short yardage and add in they can also take it to the house at any moment.

Those all purpose yards were the tipping point in drafting him IMHO. I'll bet they'll make him earn the normal RB reps just because of his size, but I think he'll prove himself & be our #2 RB.he also has the most rushing yards in the NCAA from 2020 to 2022 and most all purpose yards by a nice margin
Thats actually a fair comp. Except Lindsay was 5'8 190. Ran a 4.39 40. Super productive in college.philip Lindsay played at rb in the NFL and isnt nearly as talented. Dont tell me this kid Vaughn isn't better.
Some here don't seem to understand how big a different 3 inches and 20-30 pounds are in ANY sport. If it was so easy to be 5'5 in the NFL, there would be more than what 2-3 productive players at that size in NFL history.Thats actually a fair comp. Except Lindsay was 5'8 190. Ran a 4.39 40. Had a good rookie year on a bad Broncos team. Very mediocre second year on a bad Broncos team.
Then was cut, signed, cut, signed by three or four other teams. Did nothing.
Currently in the XFL.
But he did play. Im not going to break down whether he was better in college than Vaughn. I just know he put up huge numbers, is bigger and faster than Vaughn.
ideally he makes the team and shows enough to supplant jones. Is he a special teams player?I know it's way too early to tell, but I just checked his stats from last season and he had 293 rush attempts (averaged 20 carries per game for 5.3 yards per rush), which really surprised me.

If his father has any say in it, it will be a lot.......LOL!I know it's way too early to tell, but I just checked his stats from last season and he had 293 rush attempts (averaged 20 carries per game for 5.3 yards per rush), which really surprised me.

Exactly. 10-15 lbs difference on someone that is only 5'6 is huge. He's getting compared to very small RBs that make HIM look very small and slow. Some here don't seem to understand how big a different 3 inches and 20-30 pounds are in ANY sport. Pollard ran a 4.52Can't teach height and he doesn't have elite speed...at 4.56 he tied for 10th fastest in rbs from the combine. He's got great vision and can be very slippery but he's outside of the expected basic measurements.
I think he makes the practice squad to start the year and might get a call up at some point if injuries pop up
Our rbs are the shidazzle. After you drop some Deuce on them, you wipe them out with some TP
Oct 2, 2022. The join date when all the eagle fans raided this forum ........ Funny you mentioned Jalen Carter as well.0. He will not make the team. It was a token wasted pick. The kid is 5’5. Imagine him running into jalen carter. He will get smashed like a grape
