How many yds does Bo get this year

I want our best player closing games not a rookie RB who was drafted in the seventh round. It’s amazing how low drafted players get anointed so quickly on this board. Two years ago it was Darius Jackson who was drafted in the seventh round getting anoited.

Get real dude. Nobody's "anointing" anybody. Last I checked, RBs don't have a long shelf life. Nothing wrong with giving Bo Thanos some 4th quarter carries. It'll save some wear and tear on Zeke and wear defenses out.

Out of the box thinking, let Bo, Rod & Tavon do all the running in the first half and wear the defenses down for Zeke

You need to get real if you think a 7th round rookie RB is going to gain 600-800 yards with some 4th quarter carries. You are anointing him if you think he’s capable of that with just a few 4th quarter carries as a closer. Lol

He didn' say 600-800 yds. I said that. Just to get the conversation started. But if he did gain that many yds. I wouldn' be surprised

He will get more yards that the last Bama RB we had named Derrick Laasic

He starts on the PS, but probably makes the roster before the year is up. Either Rod or Zeke will miss a game. They'll have to call up some full sized back as a backup, and right now Bo is it.

Could make the roster for special teams. Big, fast, and disposable.
Rod Smith is the STs ace...... Bo will be the true backup...... Austin the change of pace

Rod is ST, and a complete back. Not great, but complete. Run, catch, pass block. He'll be active for every game.

I doubt that Bo passes him up on the depth chart, or is active but for injury. He doesn't bring enough over Rod running the ball to get to the game. If Bo can be a valuable ST player, then maybe he gets active. They probably have him understudy Rod for ST too.

The way he fired back at me I thought it was him. The only way Bo would gain that many yards is if Zeke suffered a significant injury and we were forced to start him for a number of games. If he makes the team he’s only going to get a few carries here and there to spell Zeke. Morris got carries to spell Zeke and started several games when Zeke was suspended and gained under 600 yards. No way would the Cowboys take Zeke out of a game and replace him with a rookie RB to close and save games. To protect fourth quarter leads you want your best player on the field moving the chains and keeping the offense on the field.

Here you guys go with this again. You guys did this two years ago with Darius Jackson just for him to get cut and still rue about it 2 days later. Let's just let the guy play in preseason before we put any type of title on him. I feel like posters like you are here to hype us all up and then when things go bad make a million posts about how we are underachieving.
I was a huge Jackson fan and thought he could help us in the run game but I knew it was Zeke's job. No way was he going to beat Zeke out but he could give us the production that McFadden did. He was cut and claimed by the Browns and the following year was put in IR from injury in camp.

That being said Bo can really be a good closer and short yardage guy. Like Barber before he got the contract. I still wouldn't take Zeke off the field much even in those situations though.

Thought you were the OP who wanted the rookie to close out games for 600-800 yards. Nothing wrong with giving him some carries but he’s not going to get carries in the fourth quarter to close out and save games. He’ll get a few carries here and there to spell Zeke if he makes the team.

Based on how most Alabama backs perform I'd say likely much less than anyone would think.

Bo doesn’t dress unless Zeke is out. He’s probably a practice squad guy that gets pinched.

Nothing wrong with Rod’s 4.2 ypc either, especially considering is a good blocker and big receiving threat. Needs an opportunity to get more carries.
