if we bring it up immediately after the draft, we're told to stop jumping the gun.
if we bring it up 3 years after the draft, we're told to stop living in the past.
when is the appropriate time to bring up draft failures without the purpose being questioned?
... versus having Escobar and Claiborne...
Would it make much difference given everything else were the same?
For the love of god, the draft is over. Quit living in the past.
They arent on this team..... stop with these post's it doesnt help or solve anything.
Warford I won't even count because I don't think he was on our board. But Brockers and Wagner are the players Jerry and Stephen said they'd have taken immediately after the draft, so I think those are legitimate questions. And I know I'd rather have them than Claiborne.
How much better would we be with Brockers, Wagner and Warford...... versus having Escobar and Claiborne...

I think the moral here is quantity over quantity is the remedy for a middling talent base.
We lost a top 50 pick to get Claiborne. The trade down worked wonders for us. An 8-8 team should never ever trade up.
Warford was not on our board at all. Considering how he has played in Detroit so far, shouldn't that be an issue as well? Who decided he wasn't even good enough for us to draft in the 6th round?
The best part about Mo is we never even met him with him before the draft. He has a serious learning issue (ADHD) so I'd think we would at least want to talk to him before trading two picks to draft him. No, no, He's Deion. This is the constant decision making that keeps us mediocre.
How much better would we have been if we only would have drafted Tom Brady in the 5th round?
Would we have won a super bowl if we only would have drafted Randy Moss instead of that DL who's name I already forgot?

Significantly better. Like by a lot.
How much better would we be with Brockers, Wagner and Warford?
Plus with Felix and Barber around no one liked the Murray pick eitherI remember when we drafted Lee, how many were upset we took a LBer in the second round of the draft.
I remember when we drafted Carter, people were upset we took a LBer in the second round of the draft. Again.
I can only imagine how upset people would have been if we used another 2nd round pick on a LBer.
And Brockers? This board was calling him a bust.
