How much better would we be with Brockers, Wagner and Warford?

Much better. Or possibly the same. Maybe a little bit better.

2011: trade down draft decastro pick up another draft pick.

2012: draft warford in the 2nd after drafting frederick in the 1st.

oline is fixed for at least 5 years, risen star dies in peace.

why is this so difficult?

Wait. Why do I have to die when we finally fix the O-line?!

I love the people who say, well we can't even count Warford...he wasn't on our board.

So what? He should have been on the board. Results matter. Larry Warford was an obvious fit, value and need for this team and we didn't even consider him. Not that we just didn't pick him. He wasn't even in the discussion. That should speak volumes of the talent evaluators we have on this team.

Give me Gavin Escobar in the 4th round to groom behind Witten for a couple of years and I'm fine with it. Taking him over a completely superior player at a much more critical need in the 2nd round I am not. That was a horrific pick.

The general theme late April, 2012: Well if it saved us from Brockers and Wagner, give me Mo every time.

This is the difference those guys would have made... Blockers this season 3.5 sacks 26 tackles most likely will finish the season with a solid season projected 45 tackles 7 sacks, he would have filled a need for us this year. Bobby Wagner, 60 tackles , 1 int ..projected to finish the season with 120 tackles 3 ints and 3 sacks. Would have help solidified our LB core with Lee and Carter. And lastly Watford, enuff said. Lions starter and would have solidfied a young offensive line core for years to come.

The negatives of this ? We still need a cb. But to be honest we still do.Because Mo is a bust and Jenkins as of now would be a better option.

if we bring it up immediately after the draft, we're told to stop jumping the gun.

if we bring it up 3 years after the draft, we're told to stop living in the past.

when is the appropriate time to bring up draft failures without the purpose being questioned?

Never apparently.

You can count me in as one who like the move to draft Mo. I don't watch a ton of college football and had never seen him play so hearing that he was highest rated DB since Deion had me on board.

Think it's pretty clear to say that whoever gave him that grade screwed the pooch.

The fact that we left Warford off of our board completely indicates we found something about him far worse then weight control or minor mental problems.

An honest discussion about Morris Claiborne being a huge disappointment would be a lot more sensible than this.

Would the team be tons better? I doubt it. 3 guys won't make a team but neither does 1 guy.

The difference would be that heading into this offseason Dallas wouldn't need to fill the holes that they have now because those guys aren't there. Just the facts. If you have multiple spots of need and blow your wad on a single position you just delay the inevitable and suffer with the weak link.

The team would definitely less susceptible to key injuries because you have other players who could step up if a star goes down. As it is now, the team is just looking around for someone to suit up.

We should have double dip on the oline. It was set up for us but we wanted the tight end.

When the question hasn't been asked 10,000 times preferably.

I'm surprised none of you have brought up drafting Smith over Watt, who is the best defender in football.

As for Mo being a bust, I think that's a little presumptuous. People wanted to cut Dez his sophmore year, and we know how stupid that sounds now.

But I guess people are unable to learn patience.

i really want to know how warford and reed weren't even on our boards. something tells me its the whole RKG choir boy thing garrett has going which is even more of an indictment on the philosophy.
