How Much Do You Pay Per Month For Your Smartphone Bill?

grandfathered from an old cingular plan, before purchased by AT&T
unlimited text, unlimited data (although they will slow it), 450 daytime minutes, free nights and weekends... rollover, for which I have a ton.
close to 100.00 plus tax...

my advice, if you don't need a smart phone... be good with the flip phone... one less person looking down... one more person looking up seeing whats around them.

$35/month on Virgin Mobile (Sprint network). 300 min talk, unlimited talk/text, i think 2gb LTE before throttled.

$106 tmobile unlimited everything
$107 sprint unlimited everything

$112 month Verizon 2 GB month, unlimited other.

They are all doing away with contracts, in theory anyway, $27 of my monthly fee is for my smartphone.

They're afraid of the hassle of switching.

I'm not "afraid" of the hassle of switching, I simply can't stand the hassle. Having to call AT&T's tech support makes me want to puke with dread. I'm not sure they didn't deliberately set their support system up to be so painful that the end result was a higher customer retention due to the built in hassle they created.

We could cut down on prison over crowding by sentencing non violent offenders to "X" number of hours of AT&T tech support

30 bucks a month. unlimited everything. 3G. NO contract. quit when you want. change plan with no charges.

Gotta buy a phone but it's paid for in a couple months relative to your current phone bill.

Some of you guys could buy several phones with what you're paying.

Will they activate a phone I already own?

I don't think so. They'll transfer your current number if that's your concern.

What I do know is, it's great not to be tied to a contract (that can change at the drop of a hat) and my bill is NEVER more than 29.95. Been three years now.

If I want to stop the service...........no questions asked. If I want to change my plan.....no problem.

I added my kids for ten bucks a month, each.

Pro tip: You don't have to call your current carrier to port your number.

thx, do you mind telling me what city you're in and how good the coverage is? I'm concerned my coverage quality ad area will drop with another carrier

Thx, I'm still under contract so I suspect they'll make canceling like leaving a Vegas casino who happily bring you in on motorized sidewalks but when you want to leave, you have to hump it

$48 a month for unlimited talk/text and 3gb of data from Straighttalk on the AT&T network.

None.

Don't have a smart phone.

Contract through Tracfone and have a flip-phone.

I maybe spend $100 a year on minutes.

I don't have a cell phone but my wife has a flip-phone throughTracfone and insists I take it with me when I go to town but I have never used it; it stays off and in my pocket so it doesn't distract me.

I think you're talking about https://republicwireless.com, and, yeah, for the OP it's ideal.
