McGovern got a 3 year, 22.35mil contract.

Year 1 he counts 4mil vs the cap.
Year 2 is 7.9mil
Year 3 is 8.425mil
Year 4 void = 2mil.

If McGovern sucks horribly this upcoming season it would save the Bills 1.9mil to cut him 1 year into his deal.
He got 8mil signing bonus over 4 years. So, by 2024 his prorated bonus is 6mil, with a cap hit of 7.9mil.
Obviously, no team wants to eat dead cap, especially 1 year after signing a player but it's not like the Bills hamstrung themselves to McGovern.
So, IMO the AAV can be inflated but mean very little.

Biadasz kicked it up a notch in his 3rd year but I think Connor Williams 4 years at Dallas was better (we’ll see how Biadasz does this season). And pro bowl or not, I think when Biadasz hits free agency he will get less than Connor did.
Biadasz was never as bad as the pundits said. Williams was simply awful. His last year was passable, thats it.

Everything is about price. We have so many problems on the Oline going into next season.

Only guys under contract are Martin and Tyler. If Biadasz wants a reasonable contract Cowboys would be foolish not to resign him. 8 million sounds about right. Steele is a FA and Tyron is definitely gone. We still dont have a starting caliber guard.

So even if we sign Biadasz we still need a LG and a RT. Do we resign Steele? That will be another 8-10 million.

This offense is in big big trouble with this Oline the next couple of years unless FO makes it the #1 priority. Martin already floating around ideas of retirement.
