How much meat have we left on the bone with Terrance Williams?

Yes he made a big mental mistake in game one of the Giants game to not get out of bounds. I forgive possibly some of you cannot.
TWill is catching the ball better than any of his previous seasons(arms extended), he seems to be getting open on a regular basis but his threat as a receiver is seldom realized. Is he just a decoy in the Linehan offense? If we lose him next year it might become clear we never knew what kind of weapon we owned during this great season.

Hes been pretty good this year. Yes it did take me awhile to stop cursing him week 1, but in my defense when he started playing better and using his brain I pretended he was always my boy.

I thought it was a good draft pick, and he's at least been serviceable. But a second contract, nah.

I like having him around despite him getting so beat up for the week 1 bumble. He has some things woring against him though.

The offense, of course, runs through Elliot.

Dez takes away from him.

Witten takes away from him.

The emergence of Beasley takes away from him.

He's about the 5th offensive option. And that's not counting the surprisingly good rapport between Dak and Butler.

I like having him and would love to keep him though.

I've said it before, but I strongly think we need to get better at the #2 WR spot. I'd like to still have him on the team, but I think we can do a lot better at his current spot.

No he is not a decoy, he is the 4th or 5th option in probably all plays. The only time he would be a higher option is probably 3rd down and long, which we don't seen to have many of those this year.

And because he is probably the 4th or 5th options, I don't think it would be that hard to replace him.

Note that I do like TWill as he is one of our home grown. But we are going to have to continually save cap dollars everywhere we can to keep this OLine together.

Williams has been a good #2 . The disrespect he gets here is unbelievable.

Agreed. He's made a ton of critical plays, some of which have been jaw dropping.

I don't think we need to get better at #2 WR, but at #1

Bailey comes up short from 55 and we blame Williams for not letting Bailey kick from 65+

Stop it already...bone head mistake. Absolutely..but had no impact on the outcome of the game
