How much of the constant losing in the playoffs is on Jerry Jones?

Is this a serious question? Since he has been head "football guy" for the last 27 years, I will go with all of it for a thousand Alex.

When Dak gets time to throw and is not harassed off his throwing spot, he leads the top offense in the league. So your assessment ignores facts that are there for all to see.
What?

That’s just not the NFL. Give every NFL QB time and not get him off his spot and he’ll de well. It’s the guys who make off schedule throws and are accurate under pressure that succeed.

What’s there for all to see is Dak is not that. He’s maxed his potential which I admire him for but we cannot win a SB with him and isn’t that they the whole idea?

C’mon man you’re better than that.

None of this was on Jerry and Co. He put a team together that he thought could compete, and they did, but we have a $40+M per year QB who drug the average down all day today.

We all know Dak was horrible tonight, but year after year when Jerry sits out on free agency or afraid to pull the trigger on a trade, you get what you pay for. Year after year, Jerry and his family sit out on free agency, they don’t go for it anymore and sure enough now it’s been years without even a conference championship game
100%

He's the GM. The team is his job.

I'm not understanding your thought process here.

I'm absolutely astounded at how some don't appear to understand business models.

I'm giving him a pass for these past 2 years. I can see why he made the decisions he's made. It's next year I will judge him on.

This is it. It's going to come down to how he handles the Quinn deal, hopefully firing McCarthy after he sobers up, and how he handles Dak, Zeke, et al, and free agency.

Next year is a new year, and we've got a great core of players. I will give him that much while I'm complaining and preparing myself to transition into part-time draft junky, but he's got to pull some money moves this offseason, or he isn't trying.

Bottom line Jerry likes the guys he drafts and going to extend most deserving or not.
Snake bitten by Carr signing back inthe day and probably could say the same with the Cooper trade and doesn't expect much from Jerry making splash signings of that caliber no time soon

It's literally 20 plus years of the SAME results. We thought it was Romo. We thought it was Garrett. Now we think it is Dak. Put another QB in here and you'll get the same 2nd round exit.

The front office and coaching are literally the most important things in the NFL now, unless you have a super elite qb, which Dak is not.

The 49ers and Eagles don't have great teams, but they STACKED the deck in their favor. 49ers were aggressive in getting McCaffery. Eagles got all kinds of players. Meanwhile we are trading away our best receiver and letting our D line depth thin out and bringing some cheap vets in.

There's a reason we stomped the eagles the past couple of years when Jalen Hurts was at the helm, and yet Hurts is now looking like an MVP. They have great coaching and an amazing front office over there. Imagine how they will look when they use that top 5 pick next year to get even more talent...

Meanwhile we get rewarded with soft, Jerry friendly coaching and Stephen Jones' bargain shopping. Our limit is the 2nd round with an organizational structure like that.

If you need proof coaching matters, look at how much better we got when Quinn got here.

The oline was good today. Interior pass pro was terrific. He could step up in the pocket all day. Still wasn't enough for him.

100% is on Jerry Jones. When his ego got rid of Jimmy, he was cursed, and so was his franchise. His ego refuses to "tank for a QB" or give up football power to a professional. His ego is why we've not won championships in nearly 3 decades.
