How much of the constant losing in the playoffs is on Jerry Jones?

That seems to be the problem, Dak needs more time? I got it, maybe no pass rush for Dak...Would that help him?
No, it means structure your offensive line and WR corps to give him time with receivers who get separation.

Look at Hurts. He stands alone in a backfield behind the best line in football. The hue and cry in the off season about Hurts was, "he ain't that good." But give him time to throw and that RPO scheme and he now looks like an MVP. When did he suddenly become one of the best QB's in the league?

When the Eagles built the team around him to succeed, and eliminate him being in a position to reveal his shortcomings. Which is what every team in the league does with every player.

The oline was good today. Interior pass pro was terrific. He could step up in the pocket all day. Still wasn't enough for him.
Let's not get carried away here. Up until Pollard went down they were better. But interior pass protection doesn't address the running game and the balance that offers to make play action work. Now remove Pollard and the team caved like dominoes. All balance went out the window.

But it's easier to just call out Dak than to analyze the things which resulted in the loss.

I am not happy with his play. And the fact they couldn't move the ball when the running game was lost is a concern. But this game still comes down to winning match ups. Take McCaffrey out of the game and not Pollard and I feel Dallas would have won that game. Even though the 9ers still had two other playmakers on the field with Deebo and Kittle.

And neither of those lost the game. Losing Pollard, which changed the dynamics of the running game for Dallas, allowed the Niners to attack the QB. Dallas became one dimensional.

They didn't help the cause. But what people seem to ignore with the two picks comment is that with one minute left in the third quarter, the game was tied 9 to 9. Without Pollard, which essentially meant no running game, with the TD by the Niners, it was left to a passing game to mount a comeback.

In every football game you have ever watched at the pro level, the objective of each team is to negate the playmakers of the other team. Pollard was negated by injury, and with the piss poor receiving corps Dallas puts on the field, there was no possibility to mount a comeback.

Again, I am not absolving Dak of those two picks. But in the big scheme of things, they were a minor issue far behind Pollard's broken leg which led to a far inferior offense late in the game.
that the INT didn't lose the game is a bit disingenuous. those 2 pick were worth -26% in win probability. they had a 67% win prob right before the 2nd pick. that would have been over 75% if the went 13-6 into halftime. plus you aren't accounting for the 2 or 3 dropped into as well (i.e. greenlaw).

Jerry didn't throw 17 INTs this year, including two last night.

However, to the extent that JJ exercises his financial privilege to make and/or influence decisions best left to "football guys", he is eminently complicit in the failure and futility of the past three decades.

We all know Dak was horrible tonight, but year after year when Jerry sits out on free agency or afraid to pull the trigger on a trade, you get what you pay for. Year after year, Jerry and his family sit out on free agency, they don’t go for it anymore and sure enough now it’s been years without even a conference championship game
Its a 100% on Jerry.
He is the GM and the buck stops with him.
He's been the only constant in the 28 year run of squat in the playoffs.

What Jerry doesn’t get is even if he wins a Super Bowl when he still holds the GM title, no one is going to consider him a “football guy.”

Way too much failure for all too long at this point. Being Kraft was never good enough for him. Had to take it all and got zero. Exactly what he deserves for holding us a hostage for his own ego.

All of it. He soils the players with a lavish training facility, an over the top stadium and hamstrings the coaches by try them who to play, who not to play and coddles his favorite players. By the time a season starts the players have been told how great they are so that they feel all they have to do is show up to win.
