What does this have to do with old school. I would take many from many ages. If you want me to go back as far as I can remember, I guess it would be White, Dorsett, Walls, etc. I would love to have a Ware jersey though. I wouldn't mind having a Staubach or Ditka Cowboys jersey too!

Ahhhh, I get it now, which ones would I choose from the ones with multiple players for a particular jersey number. Sorry, it is early in the morning.

In that case:

1- Toni Fritsch, Raphael Septien, or Matt McBriar
11- Danny White, Drew Bledsoe
17- Don Meredith, Quincy Carter
20- Mel Renfro, Ron Springs, Ray Horton
22- Bob Hayes, Emmitt Smith - tough choice because Hayes was a hero of mine as a kid but I have to go with Emmitt.
24- Everson Walls, Larry Brown, Marion Barber - I like this kid but I would be just as happy with a Walls jersey.
26- Preston Pearson, Michael Downs, Kevin Smith
27- Ron Fellows, Tomas Everrett
33- Duane Thomas, Tony Dorsett, Nate Jones? (hey, you never know)
41- Don Perkins - he wore #43, Charlie Waters, Terrence Newman
54- Chuck Howley, Randy White, Bobby Carpenter - another tough choice between Howley and White but I will go with Randy.
56- Thomas Henderson, Eugene Lockhart, Brady James
79- Harvey Martin - loved Big-E though., Erik Williams
80- Tony Hill, Alvin Harper
84- Doug Cosby, Jay Novacek, Patrick Crayton
86- Butch Johnson, Eric Bjornson
88- Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, Antonio Bryant
94- Charles Haley, DeMarcus Ware - I went with Ware because as great as Haley was he was a jerk.

How's that?

No blood no foul. Haley was a crazy dude. We met him at his book signing at the Marriott team hotel, and he was crazy there too.

Now Ditka, I would never have thought of that one. Nice choice, and an attention getter anywhere you would wear it!

Where Is Walt

I think you guys are missing his point...

He didn't "leave off" Roger, Walt , Newhouse and the likes. He was using more notable players that wear the same number from different eras...

I can't think of any other notable players that wore 12, 32 and 44... sure there are some scrubs that wore those, but no one worth mentioning...

How old school am I? I'm so old school that I'd probably choose to kill myself before I ever elected to wear a kickers jersey.

Roger Staubach - 12, Bob Lilly - 74 and Walt Garrison - 32

1- Toni Fritsch, Raphael Septien, or Matt McBriar (I'm obviously a forgiving soul)
11- Danny White, Drew Bledsoe (Danny all the way!)
17- Don Meredith, Quincy Carter (no contest)
20- Mel Renfro, Ron Springs, Ray Horton (no contest)
22- Bob Hayes, Emmitt Smith, (it hurts to say no to Hayes, but you simply have to say yes to Emmitt)
24- Everson Walls, Larry Brown, Marion Barber (I wanted to pick Brown to honor his overcoming the odds as a 12th round pick. Then I remembered Everson went undrafted!)
26- Preston Pearson, Michael Downs, Kevin Smith (Absolutely loved him as a Cowboy. What a role player)
27- Ron Fellows, Tomas Everrett (hard to pick Everett given his very short tenure although he does represent our coming of age)
33- Duane Thomas, Tony Dorsett, Nate Jones (Dorsett may be my favorite ever and yet it really saddens me to say no to Duane, an awesome talent in his own right)
41- Don Perkins, Charlie Waters, Terrence Newman (someday, it'll be Newman. But for now I'll honor the past)
54- Chuck Howley, Randy White, Bobby Carpenter (that's another great player who gets turned down, but come on, its Manster)
56- Thomas Henderson, Eugene Lockhart, Brady James (HOLLYWOOD!!)
79- Harvey Martin, Erik Williams (TOO MEAN!, great as Erik was I have equal memories of his latter career swoon)
80- Tony Hill, Alvin Harper (how fitting that these two wore the same jersey, while Hill was a FAR superior player, I think they both had some dog in them)
84- Doug Cosby, Jay Novacek, Patrick Crayton (honoring the early 90's greatness once again)
86- Butch Johnson, Eric Bjornson  (no doubt our greatest #3 WR ever)
88- Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, Antonio Bryant (if I choose AB, then I don't have to choose between Irvin & Pearson which is truly impossible :) )
94- Charles Haley, DeMarcus Ware (another choice that I hope will change in a few years)

Is this about jersies I would wear?

Meredith, Renfro, Hayes, Perkins, Waters, Howley, R. White, Martin, & D. Pearson.

I already have Dorsett, Lilly, Staubach, Aikman, and Emmitt.

Of our current players if they stay here their whole career and play as they have so far I'd wear Newman, Williams, Witten, and Ware.

I only wear original Cowboys, the one player I'd make an exception for would be Howley.
