How sad is it that our players have to literally campaign for the FO to sign FA's

I agree to a large extent, but facing a Niners team that had 4 players that were tops in YAC shows the deficiencies of the FO……..they stood pat in a season where Brady and Rodgers decline left a wide open NFC

i absolutely hate the depth of our WR corp
And C.D. wasn't all that great when the season started. The FO never goes all in on anything. It's always we like our guys.

From Lamb to Parsons.

The Cowboys stars are asking their FO thru the media for help.

How sad is it that this is what its come to?
Lol, not at all, the players have the luxury of voicing their emotions that don’t mesh with the reality of fielding a respectable product year in and year out. Sure don’t ever see one of them take take less than full market value when it’s time to resign. When I see that, then I may give what they say a little credence. Until then it’s just silly attention seeking emotions that happens to appeal to the childish needs of self gratification held by fans, most of which I would be surprised if they could successfully fetch the toilet paper at Walmart, much less manage a football roster with a real cap and real consequences!

Common sense often slaps people right in the face, or punches them in the nose . It doesn’t. take a genius to figure out what’s wrong with this team.

Our defense wasn’t the problem.

Dak was/is.
Go into the game against the Eagle with 1 weapon which was CeeDee? That's is all we had. You can blame Dak all you want but what about Romo's era? The Joneses have been gifted 2 pro bowl level qbs while only having to give up a 4th round pick and can't get to the NFCCG in that time. It's ridiculous to point fingers at players when the front office doesn't help the coaches nor players, those guys have to overcome the front office. It ain't that way in SF, KC or Philly. We wonder why we haven't been to the NFCCG in 28 years it's because fans direct their anger to the wrong people. It's been 28 years since the cowboys won a SB, Dak was 2 years old you want to blame him for that also? Meanwhile Mahomes looses Tyreek Hill and the Chiefs have this crazy idea "Hey we've got by far the best qb in the league, lets go out and bring in wrs that can actually play". So if they do that for the BEST qb in the league why would we settle for Noah Brown and an ACL recovering Gallup? FRONT OFFICE MY GUY!!!!!

Yeah no other players in the NFL are taking less but the front office manages to sign free agents, stop buying into the Stephen Jones trance on that "piece of the pie" crap he sells every year. The Eagles signed Suh on November 17th and he's made more of an impact than any FA we've signed in the last 3 years. The Cowboys passed on Gregory (and they should have) but what did they do with all those millions? Did they go out and sign a high value free agent? No they signed trash heap guys and kept the money.

Lol, Suh is averaging about 20 snaps a game and has had minimal impact at best!!!

That’s the problem we been liking our guys for the last 27 years.
The real sad thing is, if fans had their way they would never had won a game in the past 27 years. But hey they would be happy having top draft picks all the time. Then bash them for sucking.

Me too.

I can't wait to see the levels he takes a talent like Herbert to.
More like Herbert will take Moore to new levels. Then fans will say how it was a mistake to let him go. When it is Herbert’s talent is just better.
However we will need to see how Dak does also. I am not expecting a huge jump for the better. I hope there is. But not expecting it.

James Washington had 0 catches on 1 target and he was our prized free agent signing.
Lol, Washington was insuarance against Gallup taking more than the first month to be ready. Thinking Schultz, Armstrong, Fowler, Kearse etc were thought of as just a bit more important!

Agree, for some it is the old 76’ers saying.

It is sad, but it happens with other teams too....salary cap is real....I think Jerry would ope the checkbook if he could....but, he can't. It is what it is.

Unless you're a backup
I hope you are not suggesting that Cooper Rush was the answer to get us to a Super Bowl. Guy was 18 of 38 against the Eagles with 1 TD and 3 INTS and only 181 yards passing. He played that bad despite the fact Dallas had 134 yards rushing and were getting 5.2 yards per carry. Rush isn’t the answer. We need to see if we can find someone in the draft to give Dak a little competition.

I think a team with a top offense and defense begging for more help is kind of weak.

Play better when it matters.

Perhaps, but I don't mind them trying to get FAs here. We do need better activity in free agency, and there are players we can sign. Payne would be one such player that can make a massive difference.

These dudes are not difference makers, they are the equivalent of trading your 1st round pick for 10 7th round picks, you get quantity but not quality. In the playoff you need quality.
