How was the offense so poor vs ARZ?

Except almost every broadcast breaks down plays where Dak works through progressions to his 3rd and 4th receiver on the reg. But die with the lie. Right?
well somebody started that narrative (Khiladi) and he is not that good at understanding football schemes anyway and he has a personal vendetta against Dak. its not just about football. then there is the Hate Dak over Dallas Cult folks, and they recruit and this guy is a johnny come lately, joining the bash Dak party and he is just regurgigating what he hears.

with that said, the argument is he is a one read QB? then dang he has to be great and accurate because he is top 10 in passing yards, but I have also heard he is not accurate, so something has to give. but then there is always those who will say that its garbage time, yet we have lost and won a lot of close games....its never ending.

now, with that said, I am not saying Dak is great. he is what he is, but he is not what some of these pundits argue. I just hate the level of stupidity it gets to sometimes.

I call these people Daksessed.

Ok, can accept that, but:
a) has that changed from earlier season Offense, where the headline was that Dak played so well under physical pressure.
b) how do we overcome this? This O-Line is (apart for Thomas replacing Steele) what's going to be coming back in 2026.... resources are going to Pickens (possibly Javonte), Defense, Defense and Defense.
Does every team have the same pass rush?

Do different teams have different game plans against us based on their defensive skill set?

If you can pressure Dak with 4 rushers that leaves 7 defenders to cover 3 WR's.

Our RB's are none existent and ineffective in the passing game.

If Dak has to get the ball out early that takes away our deep passing game.

If you can't protect the QB, what is the point of having 2 # 1 WR's???

What was the point of paying Ferguson big money, if he has to stay in and help the RT, then run a 2 yard out?

Multiple uneducated fans have said Dak does not have the arm strength and have called him check down Dak at times.

This is what good defenses dictate, when they can get pressure early with 4 Dlineman. The ball has to come out quick or we are forced into max protection with Ferguson and Williams, allowing 7 defenders to cover 3 WR's.

Regardless of how much we have invested in our OLine, it is not good enough. Guyton was a huge gamble and so far it has been a failure.

I thought Dak was getting the ball out early, I must admit when he doesn't have to think he appears.
The point about the WR's could just as easily be placed at the door of no 4, if we can't protect him with 3 1st Rd picks and a Defense that can't keep him in his comfort zone....then what's the point.

Common sense has never been your suit.
Stop being a Richard.

And what defense have you been watching the last 2 weeks? They gave up 44 to Denver and 27 to Arizona. That's 35 pts/gm. Arizona averages 22 pts/gm and Denver 24 pts/gm. I'll stop there as we will find out.

Uhhh, hello? The Cowboys have added new players, plus they have Overshown and Revel coming back from injury.

nice try. The post I replied to said the defense had gotten better the last couple of weeks. I posted the scores and asked where that conclusion came from. You think they're going to get better, fine (I'm not so sure). But that's literally not how the post stated it.

Sorry. My bad, brother.

You're probably right.. but somebody has to educate newbies to the site about them and point out their vitriol for what it is.
And somebody has to educate older members about how a old and slow running back named Zeke gaining two blades of grass per carry is not good for the team.

The line got beat like a drum against Green Bay but Dak covered their arses. In fact he has covered their butts in multiple games. In games where he has not been able to do so the offense has looked like garbage. The notion that Dak needs all day to throw is regurgitated nonsense. Even with all the times he runs away from jailbreak pressure he is still in the upper end of getting the ball out quickly.

Much more mobile, accurate and instinctive QBs eh?

Dak has the second lowest bad throw percentage in the league at 10.6%. That's second only to Allen who sits at 10.5. Dak has been "hit" 27 times which is tied for 6th most in the NFL and he has gotten "hurried" 27 times tied for 3rd most. He has been "pressured" 69 times tied for 9th. Those numbers do not scream "the line is playing well" to me. Nor do my eyes tell me the line is playing well when I watch the games.

Even with the alleged poor performances in the last two games Dak remains #1 in the league against pressure. Yet people keep repeating that "Dak is not good when pressured" lie. The numbers say he's better than every other QB playing right now. But let's ignore that and continue with the lie. I always come back to the simple truth that NO QB is good if you can get ENOUGH pressure on him. We have seen the best of all times, Montana, Staubach, Elway, Brady, Manning, Mahomes.. you name the QB and if the defensive line was able to dominate his offensive line on a given day he will generally look like crap. Not always.. but generally. That's what makes the narrative that Dak is supposed to be Superman no matter how bad the line plays so ridiculous. No other QB has been able to consistently overcome bad line play... but we expect Dak Prescott to. Why?
I have criticized Dak plenty, he has not been the issue, the oline hasn't been good enough really all year when it comes to pass blocking. Sad to say we likely need to draft a tackle in the first round next year, don't stretch, but if bpa get em.

If there is anyone that should be attacked on offense its been Lamb, he has been far from elite this year.

The Cowboys are always everyone's "Super Bowl". The price they pay for the constant media coverage they get.
Isn't this an old tiresome excuse by now?
.
Current NFL players were still suckling on their mother's breast or weren't even born when Dallas was winning championships
Thirty years is a long time.....and counting.

That MVP talk evaporated quick eh?
Until he has a good game or two. I think it's caused by whatever it is that makes people think it's legit to rerank the teams overall every week like is common today. Brady, Cowherd, Wright all do it like it's reality.
