What got into Hatcher today? I only saw the first half but dude was possessed out there. He was really playing with a lot of swagger today.

I think it was a combination of Wilcox doing well for a rookie and the Rams not taking advantage of his inexperience. Other teams will study will film and plan to attack him. But he clearly played well and you have to love the big INT in his only shot at big play.

The defense has been great so far this year. And we've been doing it without Spencer and Ratliff. We'll be able to save money but not resigning them next year. And with the success of Wilcox, we might be set at safety. Hopefully things work out and we can go best player available in next year's draft.

Are the Cowboys getting younger and better or what? There will be growing pains, but I love seeing our young guys making plays.

The only thing I noticed other than his pick that got called back, was it would show the end zone view early in the game and you could tell he was playing very conservative about getting beat deep. You could watch him backpedaling even after the ball was handed off. It looked funny to me, so I noticed it. They showed that same view 2x early in the game and both times he did the same thing.

The important thing to remember is that this year's draft was horrible and will destroy the franchise.

Dallas was getting pressure from its front 4. Ware ran over Long a couple of times. The pressure the front-4 were getting was remarkable.
Hatcher. The guy has stepped up his playing and now he's a vocal leader. HE may be the best player this D has.

The end of my post marked "[/sarc]" means "End of Sarcasm".
Three games in our draft looks very good. Our 1st Rounder looks like a veteran at a position we got killed at last year. Our 2nd rounder caught a TD and showed flashes. One third rounder started and played well, the other looks like he will start in time. The 4th rounder is the farthest behind but still looks like he will play slot corner in the NFL. The 5th rounder looks like he will play and the 6th rounder might be the best value pick of all and will likely start next year.
I don't think anyone could seriously argue we had a bad draft, which is why I was making fun of it.
