How will it end?

2nd round of the playoffs with this defense? Is somebody besides Ware suddenly going to start rushing the passer?
I would include Ware in this debacle too, he's not off limits. Stop jumping offside like a rookie buddy.

The sun will burn the last of it's Hydrogyn and begin to cool. As it cools it will expand, first Mercury then Venus and finally Earth will be engulfed. Our world will have long since been a dead burned rock in space as the seas evaproated and the atmosphear slipped quietly off in to space.

That's how it will all end...
:)

Actually, that sounds like a new beginning.

What happens from there?

3 game run to end the season. 10-6, NFC East Champs. Host a game in the Post season and then on to Green Bay where we give them our best shot.

I know Garrett tells the media/fans publically that "we take it one game at a time" but behind the scenes I sure hope he's planting the concept of a 3-game winning streak in their minds.

We beat Tampa, lose to the Eagles, then win in NY. 9-7 but don't make it to the playoffs because Detroit gets in as the WC at 9-7.

Actually, I think we'll beat the Bucs, but not ny much. Then I think we're going to come out and show the Eagles the defensive performance of our lives. That's the team that Ryan said outcoached him, so something tells me the Eagles offense will be feeling sorry for what they're about to face when the meet ryan again. And if we do throttle the Eagles going into NY, then I think the Giants will be feeling it too. I think we go 3-0 and get in as division champs.

You do know that some of those flags he really isn't offsides? Darn refs have never seen anyone with his burst before.

Hopefully the dirty birds don't pull off a miracle.

As you know I have hate/fear the Eagles over the years because of where I live. They are talking of running the table and Giants and Cowboys collasping, like in 2008. Hey, I admit, it can happen. But I want to say this is not 2008. But here may be a likely scenario:

Eagles go 2-1, losing to Jets, beating us and Redksins (7-9)

Giants go 2-1, beating Washington and the Jets, losing to us (9-7)

Cowboys go 2-1, beating Bucs, beating to Philly, beating Giants (9-7)

Who wins the divison?

Tiebreakers:

head to head: 1-1, next:

divison record: same, 3-3, next
:
record in common games: Right now is tied at 5-2 (common teams are Rams, Cards, Seattle, Patriots, 49ers, Bills, Dolphins)...but there is one final team..the J-E-T-S. That is 8 common opponents. If the Giants win that game, in my scenario - they capture the divison which would make the season finale meaningless, right?

So if it ain't 3-0, it ain't no go!

Dallas has completed their common games at 5-3, while the Giants are 5-2 with the Jets game remaining.

Optimism & Sunshine reign supreme in this Homer's teepee. Yep, I can see the smoke signals now!!!

I see 8 & 8 at best...maybe worse if they fold up like cheap desk chairs sliding off the Titanic's fantail...

Joe, you have to calm down with this stuff, man. lol In order for the Eagles to have life again, first of all, they will have to beat the Jets (I don't see that happening, but even if it does, they will still need help), and the Cowboys and the Giants will both have to lose this weekend.

If both the Cowboys and Giants win this weekend (which I believe will happen), the Eagles' season is over. Think about it: if both the Cowboys and Giants win this weekend, then obviously, that would mean that both teams will have 8 wins. When both teams meet in the season finale, somebody is going to win, and that team will have at least 9 wins, which will clinch the division.

The Eagles' (and their jaded fans') only real hope is for both the Cowboys and Giants to lose this weekend.
